I've done a fair bit and the place looks better for it.

Going to hoover downstairs now and then bake something before starting dinner.

DS1 gone over to my mothers. He is is the foulest of moods, who knows why as he was fine this morning. I think we are all looking forward to having a break from him when he flies to the US for 3 months on Friday. He has removed a pile of stuff he nolonger needs/wants from his room though.

I had a very successful shopping trip while DS1 looked after his little bro. Bought 2m of this in dunelm http://www.oilclothworld.co.uk/chocolate-vinyl-table-cover.html as a tablecloth for the dining room and a carpet remnant in a lovely soft mid-grey to go underneath DS2's mid-sleeper bed. He's fallen in love with it and would like it in the middle of the room instead, but it would be in the way. Got groceries, too.

Packed meals for tomorrow are done and today's tea won't take long. Still need to sort out tomorrow's meal and do some paid stuff, though.
I'll be around later to sign up for next week. I love having a nicer home and there's no way I'm going back to how it was.

ETA I found an extra load of washing too, optimistic-mummy. It can go on tonight before bed when I've added today's clothes.

    Hi all

Been busy in the garden - 4 hours in all.

Garden is looking much better, still some way to go but a step further forward. Did a dump run, then came home and hettyed the car.

Just cooking home made pizza, DW is on and once I've eaten I will get the kitchen straight ready for the week ahead.

    Before bed:

    Water plants
    SBK the dreaded bind weed
Prepare food for tomorrow's fast day

    Have a lovely evening

    lasagne made and scoffed
    DW loaded twice and unloaded
3 loads of washing done and hung out.. lots to fold though but I can do that once the minxes are in bed. I need to find their pj's.

My room looks like a bomb hit and I just want to cry and go to bed. I did manage to sit in my chair for 5 minutes while food was cooking and promptly fell asleep.

Up to 38 of my 50 binbags :( I really wanted to hit this goal. I found another for CS.

Evening! I am back and have been to see Daddy and done more washing (I have a little left but not enough for a load :j) So good when the weather is sunny and dries it!
my DS1 went to see green day yesterday, someone who couldnt go gave him and a friend their tickets, was fretting about him all day but he got back safe early hours, hes still in bed now sleeping it off. will hear about it later when he surfaces.
hope you had a great time.

I had an amazing time thank you! Just under an hour of Kaiser Chiefs followed by about 2 and a half hours of Green Day :D :jAwesome!! Hope DS enjoyed it. Was trying to work out how many times I'd seen either of them before ............. and decided it was lots!! :D Got to wait 4 weeks for my next gig now ......

I agree with the idea of getting rid of stuff and not keeping it 'just in case' - if only I could actually DO it!!

Another one who uses the same PIN for both my cards.

Right, I need dinner - back in a bit ...............

Chimps home so I need to get them in bed.. and I still have 2000 piles of stuff all over my room.. and I am really pee'd off OH hasn't lifted a finger all day!!!

That is brilliant, maybe not quite at 50 but still an OMG situation :T

I've done naff all today, except set DW going before we went out. We left just after 9, had a play date (really nice, DS liked the little girl ;) and I found mum easy to chat to, we've said we'll meet up again), then went to my mums. Kiddies planted her spuds and strawberry plants for her, she made them meatballs. A fair exchange!

When we got home DS friend who lives at the top of the street was out on his little bike (with mum watching). DD was asleep in car, so DS and I wandered up, and he wanted to show Jack his tractor, so ended up with Jack and sister playing at ours for an hour, cue very happy children to have some playmates.

Then my dad arrived, and only left at 6pm, which was kiddie bath time. So you can see why I've not flown today;)

Tots in bed now, I'm just having a cuppa then I need to do a major pickup. I will start in conservatory and work my way in. Although I did get a few bits done upstairs whilst littlies had their post-bath picnic as I realised they'd not had any tea

It's just kitchen and toy sorting really, and maybe empty DW if I can be bothered...

An then it's (another) new week.

    How is it June???

Bossy.. the worrying thing is that you can't even tell I have got rid of it all!!! Every room is still bursting with crap and I have all the baby stuff coming back from the 2 oldest offspring!

My front room also looks like binbagland with about 11 bags for CS which DS2 and DD2 and her friend are taking tomorrow! I have 2 binbags and a huge dress to go to DD1 and a bag of shoes for recycling and 3 binbags of rubbish which simply won't fit in my bins... it might look different when they are gone!

My room is a pit but it looks emptier.. I have restacked most stuff and put away all my clothes in various places and got the 2 boxes of baby stuff put away
