Everyone here is tetchy too, dusty. DS because he woke up so early (I think. He won't really talk to me today) and DD because she's hurt her knee. It's a graze but I've seen worse, she has installed herself in an armchair and is acting like she can't walk. Hasn't affected her voice
Have done all the windows upstairs, put non-ironing away, hung out another load and ironed what needed. Folded curtains to put away for winter and s&s kitchen. Just having a cold drink and sit down.
DS has asked DD if she's poorly. She said yes. He said I'm a doctor, so what's the problem today :rotfl:
I will go put the ironing away after my drink, sort out their fancy dress for the party, and decide what's for lunch.
Can you believe it's June? It's my birthday at the end of the month! Why is the year in such a hurry?Bossymoo

Pinch and punch and white rabbits... take your pick.
Bossy.. this year is definitely flying by.. My 2 grandbabies are 1 this month.. 7th and 23rd.. and it doesn't seem 2 minutes since they arrived!!! I am a bit horrified at how quickly this pregnancy is passing.. and to think in 8-10 weeks we will have another rugrat making noise and mess and clutter  .. I wonder if the hospital will just let me swap this one for one of the bigger noisier messier ones
I am pleased to report neither of the girls woke up until 8:15 which is practically unheard of.. they proceeded to empty the bits of paper from the top drawer of the unit between the cots, I didn't even know it was in there.. I shall fill the top couple of drawers with stuff they can play with in their cots I think.. it will make clearing it up a lot easier.
I got the girls bedding changed yesterday but didn't do the cot bedding, which is a bonus given Squeak has somehow managed to soak her bed sheets so I need to strip all that today.
I need to decide what to do with the 3 pc cases now everyone has a laptop or new pc.. and I need to sort who is getting what for Christmas as I need to start sorting that in the next few weeks too.. DD3 and DD6 are sorted, DD1 will just want clothes and shoes and make up so she is easy peasy.. it is just everyone else I will struggle with.
My bed is stripped so I need to get that in as soon as OH has put the car seats back in the car and I can actually get in the kitchen! The seats look so much nicer nowThey were rather revolting! Squeak had wee'd in hers and Dots was full of squished food bits.
Todays job... to find floor in my room!!!
OH is building the second bookcase and instead of putting it in DD2's room where it is intended for it is going in our room to clear the rubbish from the floor next to the bed, I am sick to death of him moaning about the girls touching his stuff yet not moving it!!!
Cuppa first.. and bath and dress these 2 smellies...LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
Lovely sunny day here today so I have windows locked open airing the house, any wider and we tend to get wasps and bees inside:eek: DD is out with ex at the cinema then he'll take her somewhere to play football to tire her out
I want to get the cleaning done today so I can run errands Monday while DD is in school late. I was going to go with her, but she's been in a "tween mood" so even looking at her I got my head bitten off so I just let her watch TV yesterday and tomorrow, apart from school stuff, I'll probably let her do the same. We have a full weeks worth of springwatch & springwatch in the afternoons recorded so that should keep her busy
My project work for this week is mostly done. Just a few bits left to do which I'm not too worried about. Later I'll concentrate on studying as I have a weeks worth to catch up on
Mr A has been and its nearly all away, I just need the stepladder to stash some bits on top of the cabinets and take stuff upstairsSo I'm going to do a HHC in the kitchen at 12 and finish that off.
