Morning! Have been up with DS for a couple of hours, think he had a bad dream, so had a bit of a cuddle n cry. He's ok now tucking into his cocop0ps and watching Charlie and Lola. DD still in bed.
When she's up I think we'll have a couple of hhc upstairs. Looks bright again today, so some playing out is in order, then we have an early afternoon party.
Also need to finish inflating DS football. How is it I have an electric pump, a bike pump, and a football attachment but its still not inflating more than 3/4 full???
Yesterday's laundry wants sorting and socks pairing. DS can help with that since he woke me so early! Then the kitchen will be back to rights.
I found a garden bench I like. It's £235 delivered. It's 1.5 m, solid teak, treated and fully assembled. Is that a lot? I've had a cheaper bench before but given kiddies will be getting bigger, heavier, and even more prone to climbing and jumping on things, I need quite a sturdy one.
Have a good day, all xBossymoo

I've been up for hours. So far I've washed the dishes, wiped all the cupboard fronts down and TD, loaded the WM, done some computer stuff and wiped the main side in the kitchen.
I'm going to finish off my ironing now then it can all be put away.
Have a good day all

Hello ladies! I'm back from a week in the windy Balearics. Great holiday despite some dodgy weather. Unfortunately my case didn't arrive and doesn't exist as far as the flying industry are concerned. Very frustrating! I have a 40th tonight and all my posh frocks are on the bag.
I spent all day yesterday doing the post holiday washing. Just a couple more loads to go.
I have to collect DD1 from work at 10.30 and collect DSD to go bridesmaid dress shopping. Very exciting! I can't decide if I should take DD2. Although she is glowing with excitement about being the flower girl she will get bored and wander off. She likes to hide in racks of clothes. It does terrible things to my heart rate and blood pressure.
Good day wishes to everyone.0 -
Morning all. I've been awake since 5.45 since some idiot stood outside my house, whistling his dog from several gardens away. He wasn't very happy when I told him to take a hike. I wonder why? Muppet! Anyway, I got up, loaded the WM and did the ironing but I can't even have a cuppa till 11.30 after the blood test. If we go early, maybe they can take blood and put in intravenous tea or coffee at the same time?;)
I'm off to put the ironing away and kick DH out of bed. the sooner we get to Bristol, the sooner they can take blood and I can eat. Why is it I can go all day without eating but when I know I'm not allowed, I'm starving?
Have a good day all. :wave:DMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

Morning all
I made the buttermilk scones last night and they are surprisingly nice (have never been able to make nice scones before), especially with the HM jam.
So far I've decluttered to cups of tea and been to the hairdresser's. DSs are still in their pits and OH is at work.
Plan for today:
construct a draft meal plan (who is at home on which day etc) and write shopping list
check Mr L/A website to see if it's worth a trip into town
15min each in [STRIKE]LR[/STRIKE], DR and DS2's room
laundry x? (won't know until DS1 brings his down, but at least x2) WIP
HHC each in our bedroom, kitchen and bathroom
[STRIKE]call at sports centre to pay for next lot of swimming lessons and change time[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Call at colleague's for a coffee for an hour on way back [/STRIKE]
Get tea ready early (OH out for a meeting at 6.15)
Make a start with preparing for the paid stuff on Monday
Anything else from the list will be a bonus. I really fancy going into town to see if we can get a rug/cushions/beanbag for DS2's newly tidy bedroom. He has a mid-sleeper and could do with something comfy for underneath, but it really isn't urgent and I know it would be a displacement activity - equally, please fling fluffy mules if I start to do any more baking/batch cooking or other projects which are not on today's list.
Hope everyone has our bright and cheerful weather this morning. x0 -
Morning all and Pinch and a Punch for the first of the month - hope it's a good one.
Dry but cloudy here with a nice breeze so I'll get the washing on the line before I go out.
Everyone here is a bit tetchy and I've got PMT! The garage has already been tidied by those responsible
Just going to check my bank accounts then give the bathroom a quick clean before my shower. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning all
accidentally laid in
anyway I have washed 2 loads; will peg them out after I am showered and have ironed a maidenful so the ironing pile looks less daunting!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
