We have washed the playhouse! We pulled it onto the lawn and got some scrubbing brushes and soapy water, and both DS and DD helped :T then I hosed it down and swept the patio / pulled up weeds.

We've put it back but turned 90deg so it's not against the fence, but looks out onto the raised bed. It makes better use of space and gives more fence so we can maybe get a bench, and its the only shady spot in the garden so we need that. Although it is currently a carpark for DS and his tractor, three bikes, three scooters and a trailer :o

Just having a brew then maybe do hhc and wipe the LR and DR windows down. And the two mirrors.

Anyone up for an 8pm hhc?

    Fingers crossed, pigpen.

Towels are out, WM just finished with whites ready to go out tomorrow, tea made and pots either in DW or soaking. I've just made a cuppa for OH and me. He's going out at 8 and DS2 is playing so I'll watch the beginning of Lewis and tape the rest.

I'll make some buttermilk scones later (because I bought the buttermilk especially to try the recipe and it needs to be used. Should go well with the HM jam (although I'm not known for doing well with scones). :D

I've realised that I'm in quite a dangerous position. The house is so much better than it was and it would be so easy to relax now - got to keep going to keep the nice bits looking good and finish the rest, but maybe not tonight.

My boys have lots of new things in their room so I hope they sleep tonight. I think I may be doing distraction activities.

    Towels washed
Mattress covers washed & dried outside ready for charity bag
Car boot filled for tip run tomorrow
    Bedroom dusted including floor
Boys beds remade by ds1 (he used old quilt & protector so I redid it whilst he was in the bath)
Took Ds2 for a haircut the put him in the bath.
    Played some games
Helped ds1 with a timetable as he has to go back to school for lessons which he still has exams in + exams

Ds1 (16) (aspergers) asked me a few days ago if he could go on a day trip with a friend in the summer. Today he told me the truth. He wants to go 3hr each way at least to meet someone he has been talking to on bbm & Skype. I am pleased he told the truth but obviously will not be letting him go. I reminded him about the dangers. He is now asking if I could take him.

How'd it go? They asleep yet?

I was a tad longer than 30 but I've cleaned all the downstairs windows (kitchen yesterday) including the 12  in the conservatory... I also wrapped two birthday pressies, measured up for a bench and made another cuppa ;)

I thinks that's me for tonight. Will have a quick shower before bed, had sunscreen on and been scrubbing dirty playhouses.

    Just time for my :coffee:
