Absolutely shocking

Whatever the circumstances are, who are these people that think it is acceptable to do such a thing? And in public view and broad daylight

I thought we had passed the dark ages, its times like this that remind me that humans are nothing more than animals, no mattet how advanced we think we are

It is absolutely horrific shocking video on the news of one of the attackers speaking to the news crew with blood all over his hands. Feel sick watching it.

absolutely shocking, feel so sorry for the soldier's family you must assume your son/daughter etc to be safe once they are back in the UK.

The news was absolutely shocking and very graphic I cant believe that this has happened

Sat in tears at the news. But people are right, this should get NO publicity, it will set off copy attacks as well.

The problem is we live in an age where it just isn't possible for things like this not to get publicity.

When the US executed its raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan, there were residents of the town it was in tweeting about it while it was happening. That's a top secret military operation to bring down the most wanted man in the world - those tweeting might not have known who the target was but even so.

So when something like this happens, in front of scores of witnesses in the capital city of one of the most powerful, developed nations in the world, with people being ordered by the perpetrators to film it, then there's just no possible way people won't hear about it.

This is horrific. My thoughts are with the poor family of that man. How can people behave in such a depraved way? To do what they did to him and then dump his body in the middle of the road like he was a piece of meat. Then to gloat and encourage people to take photos. There are no words for people like that.
