Well at least that confirms that after 12 months, you will have to pay extra for not having Sky Talk/Sky TV.

So basically after those 12 months you will have to pay £12.50 or £15pm.

After a call to Sky to discuss my options here's the best deal they offered for 12months ...

Free Entertainment plus TV with hd box and installation
Free Broadband and new router
Free Sky Talk Freetime (free weekends and evenings calls)
£50 credit - as I'm 9 months into my 12months contract with another phone provider
£119.40 Upfront line rental (i.e. £9.95 pm)

Has anyone got a better deal from Sky?

I would query the free sky talk
as they only do w/e free NOT weekdays:mad:
this is what they told me
its either, free w/e calls, or anytime

That's what they told me until I pointed out that there is a Sky Talk Freetime plan with weekday evening calls included listed in the Sky brochure sent to O2 BB customers last week. Not too sure who to believe but was told this is an old plan no longer available and is a misprint but offered to me anyway.

My o2 contact runs out in Oct,so I rang o2/sky today to see what was on offer.
I dont want sky t.v so was offered
BB unlimited
anytime phone package
including line rental £15 for 12 month contract.

i am in the same position as you my O2 contract ends in oct
rang them last week
they offered me
BB unlimited
anytime package
£22/month:mad:

or BB unlimited
free phone for w/e only
£17.75/month

could get a discount on line rental for a one off payment £119
