Hi I have just called sky. I was offered £7.50 for bb only (line with plus net). Would not repeat the £5.00 bb offer they have charged me for the past 2 years. Bb unlimited so not bad.
  • Just joined the forum to find out why mse has ignored my emails about missing blagged cashback of 75 pound after using a link from a mse email. Any advice on how to get my promised cashback? I deleted cookies and had no adblocker. Bt has already sent my Sainsburys voucher but my cashback is nowhere to be seen. Iv emailed mse twice with no reply. Im worried mse has blagged me. Thanks Martin

Who? Sky? I just called them - they offered just the BB at 7.50 a month, but when I mentioned moving my line rental over they were just like you can have it for the std rental rate (17.50/mo) but the BB for no charge.
You need to give your notice to cancel then await a retention offer to get the best deal from sky! (make sure you check email/"my offers" etc after giving notice)

I gave my notice to cancel at the weekend. The best they offered was £10 per month which I rejected. Waiting to see if I get a better retention offer now.

offered the £7.50 p/month deal which isn't to bad considering last year was £5 and previous 2 were free

When leaving sky broadband do you still get to keep the o2 email addresses?

I've just received an email to say that all o2.co.uk email accounts will be closed from 7th June 2016

I thought they would have been long gone, as changeover to Sky was over 2 years ago.

I've just renewed for 12 mths at £7.50/mth.

Too much going on elsewhere in my life to be doing with the hassle of changing, I'd already renewed line rental saver with BT, before Christmas.

To be fair, I've not had any problems with Sky's service, still using the faithful Netgear DG834GT, and recently the upload speed has picked up.
6.7 Mbps down and 0.9 Mbps up.
    Move along, nothing to see.
