Be interested to know too as have standalone broadband with sky.
Anyone know what offers they might have if i moved my landline to them too.
Just keeping them seperate seams far more expensive, and see litte benefit anymore.0 -
I did not know it was possible to have them separate, but Sky is not going to give you their best deal if you are already a customer.
The market seems happy to just have us all running from company A to B to C to A
Prices are not very good at all, £13.33 from Plusnet at the moment including line rental and cash back.
I paid £61 for the year, I do not use landline, with Whatapp and Skype my mobile allowance is fine.
Based on last year there was not anything exciting till March and since they merged the line rental and BB cost the industry seems to be screwing customers in cocert, feels like a bit of a cartel going on.
My conspiracy theory is that they are working together and taking it in turns to offer deals. Thanks, don't you just hate people with sigs !0 -
This would be an appropriate thread for best deals

Well I've had no joy with Sky. For standalone BB they won't reduce below £12.50pm. If I were to switch my line rental to them then I wouldn't qualify for any of the new customer offers, so it would be £17.40 line rental, £7.50 BB, and £8 for anytime calls. Time to look elsewhere I guess.Stompa0 -
Likewise I've had no joy with Sky this year.
I'm going to move to origin broadband.0 -

I'm going to move to origin broadband.
Ex O2, currently Sky here.
I'm accepting the fact that I'm going to have to change supplier this spring after several years of good deals.
Origin is now regularly mentioned on this board, BUT, I'm wary of a company that hides some of it's charges.
Addons are mentioned on the website, but not the cost, e.g. Caller display price is not visible until you start filling in the order form.
That is unless someone can provide a link, or post them on here.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
As I mentioned in an earlier post, my landline is currently with BT, BB with Sky. Sky refused to do any sort of deal, even if I were to move my line rental to them.
So I've just tried BT. Their best offer (for a 12 month contract) was BB at £5pm (rising to £20 in year 2) for unlimited ADSL, or £9pm (rising to £26 in year 2) for unlimited Infinity 1 [with £50 activation fee]. They also offered anytime calls at £6.50pm. That's not as good as their deals for new customers, though a bit better than I had been anticipating.Stompa0 -
Hello I have my phoneline and call package with fuel broadband. My broadband is with sky. I have just renewed and was offered the same deal as last year £7.50 per month for one year. I was originally an o2 custmer. I was surprised the be offered the same deal with no haggling at all.0
