Absolutely.
I opened it thinking it would be about wife discovering hubby was up to no good, certainly didn't expect it to be about a sarcastic comment from someone at a playgroup....
Just noticed the OP has edited their opening post!0 -
Really hate it when original post gets deleted!!!
Which often happens when the OP doesn't get the usual ((((hugs)))) carp with every other poster agreeing with their pathetic position.
Childish and petulant doesn't quite cover it, but she's been accused of that already. Maybe she's taken the hint0 -
Never used a forum before, don't know if I'm commenting in the right place. I only know I'm discussed and upset by this. I am not working and for the last 18 months I have been fighting to get access to be a farther to my son. I have just won my final court hearing and am told I can see my son but contact must first start off in a contact centre. As there are no other agancis involved I am to pay for this myself at £50 per hour = £100 fortnightly. As I am not working I have NO idea where the money will come from. I have called every advice line, support agency and charitable trust I could find on the internet and had very little luck. Is there anybody that has come across this before or can help? Thank you

Some hubby who stood there and let some random woman ignore you and your child, if I was you I would be getting a life and ignoring some saddo mum who thinks she is top dog at playgroup and be seriously considering that your husband has let you down by letting you be treated in this way, his child ignored at a playgroup he is on the committee ?!?! ... Am I missing something?0

I can't really help with your question about the costs but you will get a better response if you repeat your post under a new heading of your own. There will be people who can point you in the right direction, What you've done is add your question on to another post which has more or less run it's course now.

Steve, you appear to asked your question in the middle of someone else's conversation, and pretty much at the end of it, too. You are therefore unlikely to get that many constructive opinions about your situation here.
However, it's my understanding that to get to the position where you are only allowed to see your kids at a contact center there must have been some previous accusations of improper or unfavourable behaviour on your part. With very possibly some evidence to back up those accusations. And you should have had the opportunity to dispute such allegations if there was no evidence. If there was plausible evidence I don't necessarily think that the decision about the contact-centre was wrong.
I'm sorry that the decision was to make you pay for the sessions but such is life. Maybe it will provide the impetus for you to get a job, any job, so you can see your children.0
