    Morning :hello:

I can't believe how fast my week off is going - or how little I've managed to get done EVEN WITH my PC having been out off action :o The sellotape trick works - it's amazing :D There's obviously a warped board inside the lappy that gets straightened out when the corner is held down...

I'm having trouble remembering everybody's news so Hugs, Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon, Congratulations, Well Done, etc, as appropriate :D

Tasks for today: sort out the freezer. Clean the kitchen. And I'm meant to be reviewing an opera this evening :j :j

Will probably come back later to catch up :)

    Love Rzl xx

Morning all hope everyone is well, hugs to those who are not, what a night we had last night, pull up a chair and I'll explain, or ignore the waffle if you like :rotfl:

Last night was the most bizarre night ever, we had a call from my sister saying the RSPCA had been trying to contact me about a missing dog found, microchipped with my details. When we found out what was going on it was a dog we'd looked after for the police 7 years ago.

She's been found tied up outside a vets surgery. This has sent my partner into a complete turmoil, he had her from a puppy 9 years ago. He was ready to go down and collect her immediately, but the kennels as they know we haven't had her for so long have said she has to stay there for 9 days to allow her owner to come forward. They now have my details, if in 9 days she is not collected my partner wants to go and get her! I'm in 2 minds, emotionally it's as if a pet has died, buried it then been told it's alive again, but trying to think practically. The way he put it was - I don't want her being put to sleep because of lack of a home or spending her last years in a kennel.

How my other dogs will react to her and she will react to them I don't know, cross that bridge if we come to it I think.

Off to the pet board to post this and get some advice I think

Aww - lil me - what a dilemma. Let us know how you get on

Morning all - one day I'll get on here early enough to post on the first page. One day..

Haven't had time to read all the posts as I'm at W**k, so, *deep breath* Happy Birthday to all celebrating, hugs to those in need for whatever reason, and a huge HIYA to all the rest of you.

Its a thoroughly grey day here in Padiham (where I work) so I'm actually quite glad to be in the office. Nothing worse than sitting here on a bright and cheerful day.

Had the doctors yesterday. I'm 28 and haven't had a period since February, so they want to do some blood tests to check its not PCOS or anything. Yay. That could possibly explain the increased facial fuzz, so we shall have to wait and see.

Not much happening in my world, just gearing up for a majorly busy June. Two garden parties to go to, a fancy dress party, my Dad's 60th birthday meal, Gardeners World live at Birmingham NEC, and a few other bits and bats. Oh my! Not used to having a social life...

    Hugs to all,

    Metherer
Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Morning all, back from the Hospital, a review of my little bladder problem, have been signed off, 'just keep taking the tablets'..............lovely chap, laughed like a drain when I told him that I had an accident when OH didn't get to the door quick enough to let me in.....that little episode cost him a new pair of shoes!!!!!

No quite so bright this morning, but not cold, went out in a summer dress, no cardigan etc........... OH is not playing bowls this avvy, so we have a trip to the library and to Wilkos to see if they have any reduced plants for our little project at the front door.

Mioliere: lunch today..........toast spread with rillette du porc, sliced tommies, remoularde and creme caramel..the last of the goodies we brought back.......have you room for me in your suitcase????????????? We are missing La Belle France so much....................

I printed out a notice about the garden pixies coming...........put it on the notice board, will see if anyone offers to help or comes up with a bit if dosh towards the plants........will have to think of something we can do to raise some cash..........maybe a cake stall or something..........suppose I could make bread and sell loaves?????????? or even cream buns???????

Right time I was off, a cup of coffee awaits my attention...............Ladygrim, wish I had known where you were last year we were in Cornwall on our hols, we could have met up................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Morning all!

Goodness me, the sun is shining and it is beautiful in this part of the country!
The WM is on and the DW is on a clean... yesterday it was washing very well, and then today it barely washed a thing!! How crazy is that? We still wash our glasses etc as OH doesn't like the 'feel' of them after they've been dishwashed (yes, we have cheap glasses from when I was a student, that's prob where the texture is from dear!), but the rest of the stuff? Ugh. So I've got it on a clean, see how that goes :)

Am in the middle of ordering a tray bake tray from Lakeland, and a divided Lock n Lock box for Bento... I also need new baking trays but that'll have to wait until next month, we can make do with what we have for now (and *shock horror* use foil over the tops until we can afford a decent set... no way am I scrimping this time!!)!

What does everyone think of those Wash-It laundry balls? Or shall I stick to my non-bio powder? Am thinking of trying them if I have enough budget next month, but am uming and ahing over them!

Today I don't have much planned. I want to get some more clearing and cleaning done, and need to drop off some trousers needing the zip repairing... normally I'd do them myself, but I just can't do these ones! So rather than shell out for some new ones, I'd rather pay 1/3 of their price and get them repaired :)

Right, there's some lemon zinger tea waiting for me to drink, and I think I'm going to buy some choccie today!! Haha.

Have a good day, and hugs to those who need them x
