Just posted sweatheart. Been out of the loop. Had a very quick dip following post. Kyle seems to be having problems. Hope will be OK - she isn't having it easy is she?.
Take care and hopefully I can get back to normal soon. Have a 6 week window (we hope!) until DGS3 here. However, DGS1 3 weeks early, DGS2 1 week early so who knows.
Hope all is well with you and all your family.
Take care.

Congrats Vicky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well the end of a busy day for me, this afternoon we went to The library and then nipped into Wilko's, I spent £10 on plants for the planters in the seating areas...................then changed my clothes and we had a quick trip to the lottie to put in 25 brassica plants, 2 types of cabbage, Broccolli, brussles and cauli..........also watered the celeriac, the pidgeons seem to have left it alone, the clematis on the shed is looking brill, its very dark purple..........
Came back and collected the cupboards from the garage DD is coming to morrow, so at last I might get my kitchen sorted!!!!!! just need to get the plate rack and sell the dresser............and we will be swimming.........:j :j
It was very warm at the lottie, the ground had dried out quite a lot, had to water the brassicas in .......
Supper HM fish and chips with a glass of cold beer, lovely.
Watched Chelsea tonight, OH watching The Last Detective.........seem to very thirstly tonight, just downed a large glass of elderflower over ice cubes.
Will be making some more cordial in a couple of weeks, we are going house sitting for my friend, there are loads of elderflowers round where she lives that are not contaminated with petrol/diesel fumes......I make about a gallon at a time. Its very refreshing when the weather is hot. I do a couple of bottles for her as well, she uses it for the village cricket match and also for non drinkers at parties.
getting close to bedtime so I am signing off for today, sleep well.........:DWas 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
Hi DLB
Thanks for your good wishes. Sorry to hear DH still not too good. Tell Crazychick I will be in touch, as I will be with lots of you.
I am a bit concerned about being referred to Occupational Health for my absence in February but I was so poorly. Maybe it will make a case for early retirement but our Council doesn't do it unless you are terminally ill (sorry, but I am being serious here!) I am not making light of this. My friend who lost her baby in December was called in by OH regarding her absence for 4 months (I kept you in touch with that.) How insensitive is that.

VickyA well done
CharliesMum happy birthday
Grannybroon, hope you feel better soon.
We went to see Megan (the dog) today, basically for peace of mind to check she was ok etc. I was in tears when she came out and when we left her, she was due a walk so we took her, part of me just wanted to walk straight out of the gates with her and not look back. I think it's about 7 days now going by what RSPCA man said, will be a hard decision to make, just totally undecided now. She's still as wonderful, healthy apart from needing grooming and is slightly overweight, which I suppose is good in a way as she's been fed. Got a few German Shepherd rescue places to ring tomorrow, as another option incase we can't take her on, unfortunately they are all very far away. I just don't want to see her spend her last bit of her life in rescue kennels. One day I might be more organised...........

Vicky...congratulations on your new job!
Grannybroon, hope you are lucky on the early retirement...surely health is a valid reason...I am getting my service up to age 65 which helps with my pension which will not be full anyway, so maybe I should be grateful for that.
Annie...house is on Costa del Corallo...west coast...Smeralda is on North East coast...beautiful but a bit rich for my blood. No packing done, should be in bed but godson, wife and son from Scotland are visiting his mother and I had to see the small man who is 16 months old...lovely child but a handful.
This is definitely my last post for three weeks, don't usually avail of internet cafes when in Alghero.
Weighed myself this morning and not pleased, will have to stick with the salads, fish and fruit and be rigid about taking one hour at least walk on the beach...wondered why some of my clothes were so tight, stupid or what!
Hope that the next 3 weeks are good for all
