Thanks for your help and hints and tips for me today, I am already doing bits and pieces while waiting for stuff like kettles, but will try to make sure I waste less of those opportunities! Have also given OH his list of jobs for mornings, so feeling positive that maybe we can keep this up. Is two days in too early to feel good about it? The only issue with cleaning is I've found all manner of problems with the flat, front door needs some sort of stain, there are gaps around light switches, etcetera...0

I don't have the money at present to purchase a carpet hover like vax etc.. to clean it or one to hire although I do eventually plan to we are going to disneyland Paris in 5 weeks so all the pennies are being saved. Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to try and make the carpet look the best I can until I am able to purchase a carpet cleaner or hire one which at this rate probably won't be until Summer hols as I also need to purchase a new car when I return from Disneyland as mine has been quoted as being more than its worth to repair. Thanks
Hi
I use White wonder from Lake!and - it's 4.99 but does almost any stain on any surface. I've also used oxycarpet cleaner 8.99 - it's a spray can and worked well on dried in stains.

Hi all x
Dropped off the weans went to Mr Ms. Did my full shop for the week and it came in at under £40 :money:so I'm well chuffed with myself. :jManaged round the shop and out the door in about half an hour which left me with 15 minutes to hang about in the car till DD finished her ballet class.
Just grabbing a cuppa before I sling DD into her bed and make up the packed lunches.
Will definitely maybe try harder with my list tomorrow
Jazee sorry to hear of your sons news posivibes for a new job turning up quickly x

This car seat for the baby in black alcantara.. to go with ... this car seat the older 2 have
LOTS of research went into these. The car seat for baby is really flat so it will be almost laid down which is the safest way for it to travel and the other 2 are rear facing to at least 6.. check out the info before buying forward facing seats. We regularly travel motorways and a crash at 60+ would decapitate a toddler and is what kills over 200 children a year in this country. In Sweden for example they have to be rear facing for much longer and there were no deaths due to decapitation.
But then.. we all know children are simply not classed as people or important in this countryLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
