    I've been awake since 5.

I've folded all the washing on the maiden and refilled it.with the load I put on last night. I did 2 hours ironing last night. I'm not happy with the ironing board I bought. The cover won't stay put and its not sufficiently padded. I need to think about improvisation.

DS2's birthday today. He is 15. Where does the time go?

Aww, happy birthday to your DS!

Well, DD woke me at 3.45 and I never did get back to sleep so I'm in the office with a very large cup of coffee. MIL stayed over so was going to get an early start, just not quite as early as this...

Still, the earlier I start, the earlier I can leave??? Yes??? Famous last words...

    Have a good day, all.

    Morning all

Mumto5 Happy Birthday to your DS2

Plan is walking with my friend today, hope the wind is behind us and not facing in. Visiting a friend this afternoon for a cuppa and out tonight with another friend who is having a tough time so my jaws and ears are in for a good workout.

Flying, well it will be what can be fitted inbetween.

Just got back from dropping DD1 to the station and her boyfriend back to his.
It's blowing a gale out there and trying to rain, it's like November!
I've had to bite the bullet and hire a petrol strimmer to get the back garden done. I don't see the point of buying a new one, anything I can afford always has crap reviews :(
The girls dad is coming to do the strimming, he's bait-digging this morning so will already be wet, smelly and cold when he gets here so I'm not concerned about the weather :p
I have lots to be getting on with while I wait for them both to turn up but suffering with a lot of CBA :o I have phone calls to make too but none I really fancy doing :( doctors, social to find out about my esa appeal, solicitors about DD1's claim after the accident.
I'm not posting my list it's disgustingly long :o:( I'll post once some of it has gone :p

flying seems to have gone out of the window. DD2 still not well - she had a slice of toast last night, and although it hasn't reappeared she doesn't want anything else to eat.

Last years tummy bug lasted 2 weeks and led to post-viral fatigue. So this year she is resting until she is bouncing off the walls.
