DS2's birthday today. He is 15. Where does the time go?
    Hoppy Birdday to DS2:beer:
flying seems to have gone out of the window. DD2 still not well - she had a slice of toast last night, and although it hasn't reappeared she doesn't want anything else to eat.

Last years tummy bug lasted 2 weeks and led to post-viral fatigue. So this year she is resting until she is bouncing off the walls.
Oh no, poor lamb.:( GWS wishes for her; I fully understand "resting til you bounce off the walls".:o

Posi-vibes for Jazee's DS; hope a new job materialises soon.

Posi-vibes also for Mr Ionafan; hope all goes well at the horse-piddle.

Bathroom has been done to the best of my ability - pushing through serious pain in all joints and muscles today - had to bother Mr LW to pour me some Oramorph at 03:40 this morning, so that's not so good. I also have two A-frames of washing over the bath, a large proportion of which is my underwear (it was either wash it or invest in a tin of blue paint!!:D). I've also given the bedroom and the spare room a swift once-over in case I don't get chance later in the week; Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, and Dave will be arriving tomorrow morning.;)

NOTE TO SELF: Get Mr LW to look out his waterproof lightweight jacket and trousers, so I can borrow them to use on the mobility buggy for "walkies" in the event of it being wet. I just hope Dave brings his coat with him!:D It's a lovely coat; looks hand-made, and has his name embroidered on it.
Hang on, I'll find a pic from his last stay.....DSC03796_zps8bbcc8c0.jpg

Thanks for posivibes for my DH. The procedure has worked this time and his heart is now beating in a regular rhythm again for the first time in yonks, and copious mugs of tea are flushing the GA out of his system!

Hopefully it will stay put. He has to have an ECG 2 days before we move and then come back for a check-up 2 weeks later! Oh well, it will make a change to drive 110 miles and back again in the opposite direction from what we've been used to...

It's strange that people are talking about pocket money as we've been having the same talk here.
My two have never really had pocket money, they generally get what they need in a none spoilt way and they both have mobiles on contract that I currently pay for. But recently DD2 has been more "can I have 50p for this? £1 for that. Can I go roller skating and can I have bus fare and can you pick me and Jess up??" I can afford it anymore. DD1 isn't constant with her "needs & wants" her's are just bigger :(
So we're trying to put together a job list with prices. I know household chores are part of being a family but they also need to learn to work.
DD1 is 18 this year! And still has no interest in getting a part-time job (she is at college 3 days a week and on college work placement the other 2 days) but I have told her come her birthday I won't be paying her phone bill any more  I know she'll still be in education and I'll still be getting CB & CTC for her but still.

The girls dad came round at lunch time and attacked the garden. It looks soooo much better :) still more to do but at least the housing bloke can get to the broken fence IF he ever phones back! The ex even said he'd come back and cut the hedges for me  :A It was all done just in time as the heavens have opened here :(
Not much else has been done here, just 2 airers full of washing and another lot in the WM

Well, I was right. The only thing I have decluttered is my hair. Paid stuff all morning until 1pm and then I've been a "bungee-taxi" since 3pm. 4pm School run and back; 5pm football practice run and back; 5.45pm Brownie run and back. Now leaving for Theatre Club in a completely opposite direction, returning about half 9  Reckon I've done about 100 miles so far today. Day 4 of no alcohol and I would kill for a glass of chilled Sauv Blanc after the day I've had!

    Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 2016
