    Hi all

Hugs and healing vibes for illnesses physical & mental and those with aching hearts.

Sorry to hear so many are struggling atm (TBH I am too :o)

Been at job 2 straight after job 1 so limited flying (TMD how do you manage 5 jobs plus a family? - hats off to you)

Kitchen S&S including wiping down the tiles
    DW on
washing removed from indoor line, folded and put away

Came home at lunchtime to find DC2 looking very happy with himself, on the floor in front of him was a young bird breathing heavily :( I got all 3 cats in and left the bird in the sunroom. I went out after a couple of minutes and gave it some reiki. I then left it whilst I ate my lunch, it started chirpping and it's breathing returned to normal so I put it outside. When I popped home in between jobs 1 & 2 it had gone. I'd like to think it flew away and wasn't devoured by next door's cat or passing fox!

    I don't do wine... only whine! :p

I am pretty much on the verge of a total breakdown today.. I think my old PTSD is sneaking up on me.. I am having issues regarding stuff which happened years ago (12 and 8 mainly) and struggling with that massively. I really need to rein this in again :( It is so bad I almost considered an appt with the quack but I didn't get any productive help last time so don't see the point. OH is as much use as a chocolate teapot on a coffee morning on a hot day! I am very close to sending him to his mothers by himself this weekend.. they are only interested in him and Squeak anyway so I could stay here with Dot and we could tidy and fling.. every time someone speaks to me I start blubbering I can't see me being very good company, if I even bother to leave the car! 48 hours is likely to see me off entirely.

Maybe I just need to sleep.

S'pose I should round up pjs for tiddlies!

Can I be blunt, Pigpen? Don't go. You really don't need the hassle hun. Take time out for yourself and do as little as possible. If OH has a few days away at his Mum's, then it is perfectly reasonable for you to have a couple of days off too. I know the flying "fallout" will do your head in, but you are pregnant, in pain, fed up and a visit to the outlaws will simply do your head in further.

Just put DS to bed, and he wanted to talk about daddy. When he was a boy, and I was a girl. I said we didn't meet until we were grown ups and we lived in different houses. He said "where did me and DD live?" So I explained, nowhere, it was before you were born. He said "ahh I was in daddy's tummy and DD was in yours!" :rotfl: I am not discussing the birds and the bees with a 4 yr old at this time of night :p

Am bushed. Early night for me. Need to pack tomorrow, going to caravan on Friday. Last time I was there was 2 years ago, we took DD on her first holiday, everything was normal. Looking forward to it but apprehensive too. Hearts had a bit of a battering in recent weeks and it needs a rest.

Hugs, sticks and spoons (am going to add that to my list I think, to go find some!)

Well I've done nothing today, and probably won't now either. Thankfully my bathroom isn't too grubby, so it's not too bad. Ten hours of paid stuff today, so tired it's ridiculous, I ought to be able to do something after all this! Still, don't start work til the afternoon tomorrow, so will hopefully get the basics done on tomorrow's job, as well as keeping on top of the bathroom despite the lack of proper clean.

Just got to remember - I do not need to give up on this idea just because I've missed one day.

I've done nowt today, not even a "kettle" moment could be squeezed in. Do I feel guilty - "nope". Tomorrow is another day and I'm in a better place here than I was this time last year. Back then I would be chasing my tail every single day and feeling hopeless. Now, a day off is not such a tragedy. Be easy on yourself, hun xx

I cracked and bought a bottle of wine. Theatre Club went brilliantly well (I'm a newbie - last time I did anything was 11 years ago for the first time in my life!), and I have returned this Spring and been given a small part in a comedy. Loving it. I felt my throat needed liquid refreshment after 2 hours of deadpan. :o

Bossy - I hope you don't mind me sharing a little poem with you. It is in no way at all dismissing your feelings regarding your loss of your dear DH, however it is about having to walk a different path to the one you had planned. I have a very dear friend whose son has autism and she uses this story to help her deal with each day. Please, please, please believe me when I say I don't wish to cause offence. I sincerely do not intend to cause any.

I was struck to the core when you mentioned your apprehension about going back to the place you last visited 2 years ago when everything was "normal". I hope the article below will help you on your new route.

DH and I don't like the floor now it is oiled. This is not good news after all the effort he has put into it. I may well need a very large rug or 2. DH is gutted, maybe it will grow on us.

HOpefully it will. It's horrible when that happens. We did a whole load to our lounge the Xmas before last, and when the expensive curtains arrived, I hated them. They are striped, and I hadn't noticed the direction of the stripe when I chose the material, and the seamstress didn't say anything when she measured up as she assumed I'd seen the arrow or whatever on the sample. When she unwrapped them I almost cried, as the stripes were the "wrong way" from what I'd imagined. I'm still not 100% happy with them really.

Just for the bird spoting flyfolk. I saw a blue & yellow parot today
It was in the back of a car in front of me.
Tried out a few baths in HB and chose some lovely tiles.
Visited parents house and saw both of my sisters and my niece.

Washed all the towels again. Tried to catch a loose brown dog that keeps escaping from vile couple's house across the road.

Ds2 had a new book and gave me 6 books to recycle. He is getting the hang of decluttering. He had a nasty fall in the LR, he has a big bruise on his arm and a sore toe. He was running to go on the computer. He came home with a trip letter for next week. He only went on one last Friday.

DS1 came home early to revise.

    Ground floor henried.

DH had to go to Mr T's on way home as school requested cookery ingredients for tomorrow. Short notice and costs were over £5.

Aww that's lovely, thank you. And it resonates with "life is a journey, not a destination".

Do you live in our street? Have the same problem here.

Anyhow, hello all, hugs to all who need them. Thanks for your posivibes for DS, it must be working, he has two interviews lined up already.

Yesterday I was exhausted, can't put my finger on it, but I went straight to bed after the paid stuff which is not like me. So yesterday's flying consisted of cleaning one radiator.

So far this morning, I've sorted out this month's paperwork as today is pay day. Yay.

Hope everyone has a great day. I am going to optimistically look at todays list.
Spend less now, work less later.
