Back's playing up so stopped for 5 mins, wouldn't mind so much if I'd done a lot but I haven't :o Also got a headache coming on :(
Stripped my bed, decluttered 2 phone calls to my mum (forgot what I wanted to tell her in the first phone call :) ). Also called my best friend, haven't seen her since last week and I know her fibro is playing up but I haven't felt great enough myself to go over.
Dog fed. DW on. I've unloaded one airer, the other is still damp. Sorted out the underwear basket. One load on the line, another in the WM. That's when my back went. Now that the ex has taken down the old trampoline I have nothing to put my wash basket on, it's lot of bending. I think it's down to all the raking yesterday, plus having a weak back after an accident a couple of years ago.
Got a letter saying my appeal is being looked at so I bravely phoned the benefits office to find out I would be getting any money. I hate doing it, I hate talking to people I don't know and I hate asking for money :o

DS1 needs early tea as hes babysitting for DD2 and her partner theyre going to ee Eddie Izzard (lucky things). im on emergency phone back up to talk him through stuff if they wake!!! i wish him luck its his first babysitting stint.
If you're on twitter sent Eddie a message once the doors are open IYSWIM - before the concert, and in the interval, tweets from the audience (or anyone else) to Eddie are 'displayed' on the big screens - so you can mention them by name and give them a shock! I saw him last Friday *swoon*

    Hello Flypeeps

Been mega busy. Have 4 lots of washing on line (started washing yesterday in the hope of a fine day) and car has been washed, cleaned inside, windows cleaned and car vacuumed.
Did a meter reading yesterday and have shaved a bit more of the fuel bill WOOT! - helped, no doubt, by my running DW and WM (and, if necessary, TD) on cheap rate as much as possible and generally nagging:D

Have also mowed front lawn, and raked it, removing lots of moss; weeds pulled round front and drive swept. Trimmed my box bush (it's supposed to be a ball - but when you buy whoopsied plants they are never perfect;)) and have potted up my Datura gift from Mum and Dad for Easter because we (sisters and I) envied them when we visited Budapest.

Am, however, very sniffly and itchy (hay fever :rotfl:)

Have eaten very old chicken tikka masala (over a year it's been in the freezer, and it was whoopsied:cool: )

I need to cut the meadow out back - and I need to stop admiring teeny potato plants and get on with stuff.

Bossy - I clicked through to that link - I too am not on the route I planned , but it was my choice to deviate from it, and that makes all the difference.

Am now trying to decide what to do next...shall probably start upstairs.
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

DS has new trainers. A size bigger. Lets see how long these last ;) chucked them out into garden but we've all come back inside now as its gotten chilly and dark out there! He's saying he's hungry. Again. Am ignoring him :p

Cleaned fireplace, was quite dirty. Used a "cleaning stone" which is not so much a stone but rather like astonish paste. Did the trick, anyhow.

Kitchen is all tippish but I'll do all the washing up together after dinner. Not enough for a DW load and I don't want to leave it all weekend. Speaking of which, we are still not packed. Not going till after lunch, though.

Oh, I won a tenner on the lottery last night! Hurrah! Will buy us all an ice cream! Have no idea what to pack. Am all in a muddle. Told DD she can stay in her own room tonight, I really need a good nights sleep...

Moved some seedlings out into the planter, more lettuce and some aubergines!

Am sure I must have done other stuff too... Oh, we filled the bird feeders.

actually ate a frog ive been putting off for ages, ive made an appt for myself at the DRs. ive been ignoring a hard walnut sized lump in my back for about 6 months thinking if i do that it will go away its not so ive bitten the bullet and got an appt for next wednesday. i told the receptionist i just wanted advice and told her, she sort of told me off and said i should have gone straight away, at least now a dr can hopefully tell me its nothing and safe to ignore

only did it because i had to walk into town past the drs and get a pressie or i wouldnt have bothered.

    Hi all x

The grand total of my day so far

    S/s scullery
    HM spag Bol
    Hoovered LR and hall
    WM
    Sleep

OH just run DS2 to the cinema with his pals to get their tickets for fast 6 tomorrow night. He paid for it out of his savings when I asked what savings that was he told me his change from his school dinner money. I think I will be topping his dinner card online from now on if he can save £9 in a week.

Off to Hoover the stairs and upstairs rooms that will be something else off my list then I may do a HHI.

Wendywitch if I was you I'd go back to your GP and tell him that you still feel low and that you feel the meds you were taking weren't helping. Perhaps there is some other kind you could try. I know I used to give myself a hard time for taking meds cause it made me feel like a failure but I now know I need to take them otherwise I'm on a downward spiral.
Tell your GP that you don't like having to ask for sick lines and you would like to get to a position where you were able to take a job but at present that's not possible. Tell him what they have said about your appeal just lay it on the line. Deffo take someone with you for support.
I know very little about the benefit system but I'd suggest getting yourself to your local CAB/money advice centre they will know and be happy to help xx chin up love it does get better xxxx

Same here - but 'twas not my choice to change path, in my case. Wheels were never part of the plan. Good job Holland is reasonably flat!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank the gods I did the rest of this week's Flying yesterday, albeit in fairly cursory fashion. I'd forgotten that Dave likes l--o--n--g walkies!:D

Piggers I agree with the other ladies who think you should stay home and do a little therapeutic flinging this weekend. If OH wants to flounce, let him!;)

I have to admit, this week's Fred has made me a little reflective (no, I don't mean I'm turning into a mirror, sillies!:D) I've never lost anyone close, at least not anyone of the human variety, simply because I've never had anyone human close before. And I know for a fact I won't cope if anything ever happens to Mr LW:( - it's something that does prey on my mind a bit, simply because he's a decade older than me.

Anyways - Dave has decided that our bed is his bed (to be fair, he will be sleeping on it at night, because he sleeps on his owners' bed, and I don't have the heart to make him stay in the kitchen, he'll think he's done something wrong). But he's been on there sleeping in the sunshine this afternoon, after his walk - eventually I got fed up of making him move out of the full sun, and drew the curtains.:D

Oh yes, and I keep thinking it's Friday today.... Confused-dot-com is me, methinks.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
