As someone told me when I met MrD (I'm 5ft2.5, he's 6ft1) we're all the same height laid down ;)

See this is what I adore about being with a tall man. The feeling of being enveloped in the safety of their arms.

There are differences in optimum benefit to various positions, lying down or otherwise with height differences IME. I really don't want to go into that further but I am sure you can imagine them. In general I think that a smaller height difference works best for me.

I feel safe in my husbands arms too. :) He's short.....not effeminate. :D. His arms and chest are still stronger and warmer than mine (why are men so warm all the time?) and he is 'home' to me.

Well I am 6' and DH is 6'2 tall, I had a boyfriend once who was 5'8 and it didn't feel right, even when he wore platform shoes!!!!:D
He was the only one I went out with under my height, didn't fancy repeating the experience.

Was travelling around China once and met up with some other Brits and they laughed when they saw me chatting to some chinese as they were a similar height and then.... me!

Haven't worn heels for a few years and have just purchased 3" platforms so should be an interesting summer.

All my boyfriends have been pretty tall, that said I'm only 5'3" so not many guys would be shorter!

My husband is 6'2 and I love him being tall, the only time its been a problem was our wedding day, as in the photos the height difference is pretty obvious.

I have a height phobia really lol. I'm 4ft11 and really wouldn't meet anybody if they were over 5ft10 as I think it would look silly.

It is very unlikely that I would meet anybody smaller than me....unless they were under 10 years old so I'm quite safe there, as all people over the age of 10 are taller than me:)

Most women want a man taller than them and most men want a woman shorter than them. However there are always some that want the opposite or don't mind at all. Also just because someone has a preference doesn't mean that they would never fall in love with someone that didn't meet that preference. My friend hates beards and can't believe she fell in love and married a guy with a proper dark beard. :)

I'm 5'6 and a half (dont forget the half ;)) and to be honest I'm not fussed. It's only ever caused a problem once, at my rugby club sponsor's dinner. I wore a brand new pair of gorgeous glittery ankle boots with a 3 inch heel. I stood up to give my player a hug, forgetting a) I had heels on, and b) he's only about 5'8, and ended up looking at the top of his head :o I was mortified but my mate thought it was absolutely hysterical - in fact I was so mortified I insisted on wearing almost flat shoes to our formal awards ball only to find he'd injured his knee so spent most of the night sitting down anyway!!!
I must say I do like the hug thing though. Another one of the guys at the rugby is 6'2 and he gives the best hugs - I love being squashed in against his chest as its broad and strong. He gave me a huge bear hug with both arms when I saw him on Saturday and I could have stood there all day! I'm not the princess type either but that does feel really rather protective... ;)
My best mate is 5'2 and she envies my height. The bloke she fancies is about 5'8 as well but I keep saying to her she can wear whatever shoes she likes round him and not worry whereas I have to constantly watch what shoes I'm wearing!!!

I'm 5'11" and I have to admit, really not into guys who are shorter than me... which does tend to narrow the field a little bit!

I could probably just about cope with 5'10" but any shorter would just make me feel like some kind of she-hulk!
    On the up :D

    I'm 4ft 10 and have always preferred tall men. My husband's 6ft 2.
