I'm 5'3" and have always gone for taller men - over 5'10" usually. Not consciously, they're just the ones I've found attractive.

I went out with a guy who was 6'5" once, we both had a laugh over the height difference!!

I admit, I probably wouldn't go out with anyone shorter than me (not many men are shorter than me anyway :o ) but I'd go out with someone who was 5'7", absolutely.

I'm 5ft 0 so it's hard to find many people smaller than me :)

I'm 5 ft 7, and would feel weird with a bloke shorter than me. Both my serious partners have been 6ft +. I'm the second shortest in my family - my Mum's 5ft 8 and a bit, my Dad's 6 ft, my brother's 6 ft 3, and my sisters are 5 ft 8 and 5ft 4.

    OH is 6 ft 1.

I get cross when he's sobbing on the sofa if I'm trying to get stuff done because he takes up so much space that I'm like a flipping pony jumping over his legs all the time.

?! Does he sob on the sofa often?

    Sounds a bit harsh.

I giggled as what I saw as a 'lirism' for 'slob' and thought 'its not me this time':o:)

    Didn't even think of that!

I just had this image of the bloke sitting on the sofa sobbing and his wife just being annoyed about his legs.

I keep getting quite nice looking ladies check me out on POF, they look great, I start to read profiles and then realise they are giants. I'm 5ft 8, some of these girls are 5ft 10 (then there's heels).

My last partner was 5ft 1".

Haha! I'm 5ft 6 and my husband is 5ft 3. Doesn't bother me in the slightest, but my friends take the mick sometimes. The guy I dated before meeting my husband was 6ft 3 - height's just not a top priority for me. Fitness levels, however, that's important - the husband's a cracking distance runner, huge attraction.

Know what previous posters mean about heels - I got married in bright orange running flats. My mother was mortified! They were hidden by the wedding dress though. :)

I am not a particularly tall guy at 5ft7 but always had a thing for tall girls. What are you experiences regarding heights and dating. and does it matter?

I'm a relatively tall bloke, 6'4", and height never mattered to me... as long as the width was in due proportion.

    I'm 5ft 6" and bf is 5ft 8" (bless..he thought he was actually 5ft 11" till i measured him :p )

I don't consciously go for guys taller than me....but i do prefer the feeling over looking up as opposed to down.
