Is there anyone you can call on for support locally? If not I would suggest you contact the Samaritans since I know they helped Tayforth.

    (((hugs)))

I have thought about it, but I can only write the words down, not speak them. I wish they had an email link!

I have been to two counselling sessions for the PTSD a while ago - and I just sat there and cried the whole time. It was mortifying :o:o they did say they would send me another appointment but that was 2 months ago - I think I scared them off :o

ETA - as for local people, because of what's happened, I've stayed away for literally everyone. I've completely isolated myself, and I don't have family either. It's a very lonely life being me at the moment.

    Hi Spirit,
Thanks so much for asking - I think MSE is one of the nicest places in the world sometimes.
I had a complete tizz-wazz last week which just about saw me sectioned (had anybody actually witnessed it other than myself - I'm good at finding cupboards to have melt-downs in).
Following that, have taken time off work - haven't been asked for a reason as yet (self cert runs out on Thursday so either need to go to Docs before then, or go back).
I've already stopped shaking which is the first time in months. I'm taking the time to try to get the house standards up - it's sort of two fold, keeping me busy so not thinking about PTSD thing, but secondly serving a purpose of getting me out of here.
Life feels very fragile at the moment, which simply means its all the more precious.
Thanks again for caring to ask. I do hang around the boards and keep up with everyones news.
    xx

Sorry to hear it was tough for you

The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Good for you. When is the appointment?

    How are things at home?

Do you think that the indigestion is stress-related? Stress can play havoc with your insides, I lost my appetite completely when I was going through the last couple of months of my marriage.

    Massive hugs to you xxxx

Strangely enough, I don't know when the appointment is - they were meant to call me back, but didn't :o

Same old, same old at home - few more repairs done

Yes - it was stress related, my mother came to visit for 30 mins. That's nearly a whole packet of Gaviscon in one afternoon :rotfl:

Definitely haven't lost appetite, have gained about 2 stone in the last 5 months. It's disgusting!

    Thanks for letting me rant.
