As I raised a complaint with you ( number above) you should be able to see the littony of errors & poor service. I finally got an email saying I did not owe you anything. No apology . Rest assured I will not be back and would not recommend. No need for Facebook as I have given up which is probably what you wanted anyway.

I have been with Flow since July 2016. All fine up until May 18 when I received a bill of about £500. I immediately called them where I was informed my Gas bill was based on my meter reading provided in which 1356kw/h was used. I requested they come look at the meter as there must be an error with the meter- I was asked to send a picture of my meter- In the meantime I had a fire specialist round to check my fire as this is the only gas item I have in my 2 bed house (2 adults only). They said all fine with the fire- no leaks and there is no way I could have racked up a bill of that amount. I heard nothing from them and continued to pay my £51 per month (duel).
Novemeber I received an email and letter stating my direct debit was increasing to £153 per month as I owed the outstanding £477.
Naturally I called them again- I was then told that March was a cold month and also blamed the fact i had not sent a meter reading since March. I was still not happy and left the call with a manager calling me back within 48 hours. Well nothing...no contact from them. I called again on 19th Dec and explained all over again- this time I was told it was because i wasn't paying enough each month- However H had always paid the same amount- been in credit and my circumstances or living arrangements had not changed so again I did not accept this. I was then told that they disregarded my meter readings I provided as they felt I gave incorrect readings (too high) since opening my account in 2016. They have now realised that the meter readings I had been providing for 2 years were in fact correct. I questioned as to how come it has taken 2 years for this to be picked up- if they were unsure then send out someone to read my meter, email or phone me to clarify- they did nothing. So they have now worked out the energy used and are using my current tarriff amount to create the mamouth bill- but I was on a cheaper tarriff for the first year. I left that call with a manager to call me as the person could not explain as to how they can allow this to happen for 2 years when I have done everything a customer should do, at this point I also explained that I would be cancelling my direct debit and will continue to pay the initial £51 until the matter is explained to me by a manager. Well needless to say no call back so I emailed on 29th Dec 18 with a formal complaint- I have heard nothing- Received a letter yesterday to say I have 7 days to clear the balance on my account. I have just called again and for the third time I am awaiting for a manager to call me back.

I feel like I have done everything possible to try and resolve this issue and they cannot be bothered- once sorted though I will most certainly be leaving flow energy.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

This company starts off offering low prices and says the are here for the consumer.... They are definitely not. I was told the prices I was paying on EON we're ridiculous and that they could lower my monthly payments to 44 pounds a month, bearing in mind I live alone and I am hardly ever in the house, I do not have my heating on regular and only really sit on the computer when home. Then my bills started shooting up until I left the company now they say I owe them over 300 pounds! If this has happened to you like thousands of others I have read please share your stories on other platforms as they regulary get deleted on here. They send lots of messages demanding money and make sure you raise the issue with the regulator or they will continue to rip off the British hardworking public. Terrible company and the call centres and email people are no help at all. Estimated readings continuously putting you into debit with them. THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

As a recently ex-flow customer I can understand your frustration regarding their estimated bills at the end of each month. Their billing system is archaic and you will never get an actual accurate end of month reading, always an estimate.

However, you should only be charged the unit rates you have agreed to, what they told you you would pay each month has no bearing. You must always measure your costs by units used not some fantasy monthly quote.

I do not know about this particular company, but my advice is stay well away from a company called Flow Energy. My dealings with them have been absolutely shocking, tormenting to the point where I paid them money I did not owe them just to get them off my back. The worst thing is they seem now to be part of the Co-op, a highly reputable company - I have no idea why the Co-op took them on given Flow Energy's history. Check their history out for yourself on the web but steer clear is my opinion, based on my experience.
