The Labour party has failed to answer this question for the past 3 years.........;)

But at least they take the trouble to say that the coalition's approach is wrong.

UKIP say nothing at all. It's as if the problem did not exist.

That type of comment is precisely why UKIP is gaining momentum across the board. As political die hards are living in La La Land. Rather than facing the very real problems this country faces head on.

In what way is UKIP facing head on the very real problems which this country faces?

The EU/immigration issue is insignificant compared to the economic issues, yet UKIP has nothing to say about the latter.

It's obviously not insignificant. Democracy has spoken.

Hardly insignificant. Immigration is having an impact on low skilled jobs, the health service, schools, housing costs.

All on the back of some political bureaucrats in Brussels. Who are totally unaccountable to the wishes of the British people.

So a few misplaced expressions don't deserve pulling apart.

Yes they do. Last time I looked everyone was 'coloured', or do you live in a world of transparent people?

Sounds to me like clinging on to straws.

A bit like Hamish is doing after calling UKIP irrelevant racists. Every time thing is going to be turned into something.

If they'd have said black the same complaint would have been had. People just don't like them and thats all there is to all these titt for tatt moans and smearing attempts.

So, if I vote for UKIP at the next general election, will I be voting for austerity (a la conservatives/lib-dems), or will I be voting for massive increases in government borrowing?

You will be voting to leave the EU and reduce immigration in the main.

The coalition haven't been particularly austeric by the way. Spending has increased.
