Nooks £29 @ Argos, Sainsburys, Currys, Very

Whoop - took up the very.co.uk offer after three weeks of deliberation. ordered my GlowLight yesterday, shows as £72.95 (including delivery as I don't have a collect place nearby) and because I ordered it before 2pm it is currently on its way to my house unfortunately its coming via yodel so we will see about the condition.

I used the £30 off code and they said it would either be added to my account or refunded to my card once the transaction had been made - the £72.95 has been taken from my account but neither of these things has happened. Have any of you that did the same received it and where did it go? I really don't want it as a credit on the account I want it back on my card considering I paid in full!

Either way hopefully that means I get the Nook Glow Light for £42.95 including next day delivery, just got to figure out the best place to get books now

I would guess that most of those on eBay are out of copyright 'classics' etc that you can download yourself - in many formats including epub - from 'Project Guttenburg' (or similar):

Have finally managed to get a Nook basic Touch Ereader from Asda for my mum. I received an email from Sainsburys this morning, but they are out of stock again by the time I tried to buy one at 9am and when I rang Customer Services they said they had only received a few and had had lots of complaints! Argos claim that it is no longer being stocked , Some Asda's dont know when they will receive any more and Foyles added my to their waiting list, so I am very happy to have found one, I just home my mum likes it after all this effort.

As you've paid with a card, it will get refunded back to your card when it gets marked as dispatched, you will be able too see it under transaction history straight away but it takes a while to get back in your account. I was also a little worried as it seems very backwards. But it worked out alright, mine got dispatched on Monday with a mere two weeks delay and yesterday the refund was back in my CC and the nook finally arrived.

That's a noble viewpoint, however I'd guess that a lot of them are simply the contents of the vast number of .rar / .zip files that are available for dodgy download all over the Internet, containing pirated copies of books

I've emailed them as it says in their terms and conditions that at the very latest it will be refunded when the item is dispatched - mine was delivered today and there still isn't a sign of it. Guess I just need to be patient but I need the money for bills tomorrow lol! Fingers crossed but thanks for the reassurance that it will come back to me :j

Thanks op... my nook has finally arrived and it's a nice little thing.

The delivery guy asked me what it was (he delivers to my house often,) as he said he has delivered loads of them today :rotfl:

When you log into the very site does it show in your transaction history? In mine showed up as soon as it got dispatched -

My very order #1 finally arrived at lunch time, flying through the letterbox from the Yodel guy. First one I had to sign for this one was just left.

Just charging it now. Then to add books for SHMBO onto it.
