And how are people ordering this stuff to collect in store now? JL and Asda, Argos...all of them won't allow me to place an order with them now as it just shows 'out of stock' - do you have to make an account with them to be able to order?

Sorry, what I meant was, when I ordered it, delivery was to be by the 9th May. I read either here on HUKD that they wouldn't be delivered until 16th May and that Currys didn't even email to inform me of the delay

As long as it eventually gets delivered, I'm good(ish).

Is anybody else having wild daydreams of them being forced to substitute the simple touch with the glowlight to honour their outstanding orders?

By the way, has anybody thought about getting one of these? I'd love to get one, I'm only hesitant because I don't want to order it only to have currys cancel on me.
Oh drat I can't link - search for 'nook simple touch stkin sticker' on ebay and have a look. I think they're lovely!

I created an account on line using a PC, no card details required
When running the Nook for the first time it asked if I had an existing account or wished to set up a new one, used existing account, no card details required
Did exactly the same with the wife's
We both got Pride and Prejudice for free

In my opinion it would be very easy to accidentally purchase a book

Here you go, they are nice fit to say they are intended for kindle 4 & touch/ Kobo Touch.

Thanks for the reply and pictures. Does the elastic hold the Nook securely? I have a case for my tablet and I cannot rely on the elastic straps?

Yeah it does hold it really securely to the point that I was worried when it snapped back on to my Nook :rotfl:
