Thanks, yes I tried this earlier.
Although it says in stock, when you put it in the basket and try to checkout it becomes unavailable:(Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0 -

Try Isme - no need to open a credit account if you don't want to (though there is £10 off and free shipping to home if you do) and normal shipping is free if to a Collect + outlet.
Direct link (says it is in stock) is http://www.isme.com/nook-simple-touch-ereader---black/1216529085.prd?browseToken=%2fq%2fnook0 -
I placed two separate orders from Sainsbury's to collect in store, they were placed about an hour apart but the second order is still processing while the first one was delivered before the weekend!
Fingers crossed they turn up...0 -
bought the missus one and she's well into it. I've had the most peaceful bank holiday for years :rotfl:0

Well I have just received an email from PC World replying to my requests for the order to be cancelled. Sent them last Thursday morning, and got a reply today saying that unfortunately their records show that my order has been dispatched. However I can return to my nearest store which is handy enough for me lol.
Although at the rate I'm going by telling family and friends, no matter how many I eventually get someone will want one lol.

Thanks to whoever put up the £30 off on the Very website, I decided to pay the extra £9 for the glow touch after realising I will use it a lot when travelling at night0

Mine has finally arrived from Nook themselves! Yay. Thought it would never get here!
Must admit I prefer it to the Kindle. The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -
Ordered my Nook from Currys on Saturday for home delivery, got an email early Sunday saying the order was being processed, heard nothing since.
The optomist in me says yesterday was a bank holiday so hopefully it will be dispatched today. The pessimist says maybe Currys have taken too many orders and it is going to get cancelled. Any thoughts? Any body else order at the weekend?
fingers crossed!0 -
I got a Nook this morning :T :rotfl: From PC World may I add, still no sign from Nook themselves though, that's still somewhere in England according to the tracking.
