not sure which you've got but if you've got a Glowlight one, it says on the box that an "anti-glare screen protector already installed. Please do not install any additional screen protector"

Are the books easy to get hold of as I have been told the selection is not as good as for the kindle ?

Any ebook in epub format can be used on it, you may have issues with drmed ones but free ones are fine. I have loaded several from my calibre library with no issues.

You can put Kindle books on the Nook too.

You need to download a program called Calibre and add a plug in to it.

It sounds complicated and off putting but it's really very easy to do.

I ordered from Very on Thursday using the £15 voucher which the confirmation email has acknowledged, but they have charged my CC for the full amount and on the transaction history (on their website) there is no mention of the voucher. I called them and apparently they will credit my card once the item is dispatched! On top of all it was meant to be delivered yesterday but hasn't even been dispatched yet and no information from Customer Service regarding the delay! Has anyone had their £15 credited back? It all seems very odd!

So (save me reading all the thread) if I order one from Very to get the treats and the discount £15 off over £25 - do I need to open a Very account or can I just pay by card? I'd rather not have an account with them as I don't know anything about them but they seem ok!

I do have a basic Kindle but like the idea of library loans and being able to use this for web surfing off wifi when I go to Germany in July to save taking the iPad.

I take it the codes get entered at payment stage as I've got as far as registering on Very but not got further yet until I find out what the best option is.

    Thanks for replies in advance.

My online Very transaction history is showing the £15 as having been re-credited back to the credit card. Haven't checked my CC statement yet, but it did say in the terms and conditions when ordering that they'd take the full amount and re-credit it on dispatch, so I see no reason why it hasn't gone through. My order didn't show the discount originally either, although it was on the email confirmation. I shouldn't worry too much.

The £15 off only applies on the credit account, you won't get the discount otherwise. I opened a credit account then paid immediately by cc, so although I have about 3 grands worth of credit on there, I don't owe them anything and will be closing the account if I can.
