For goodness sake I don't know how many of these I have coming now! Between 2 emails from Nook, I have now just received an email from PC World telling me that my order from them is on the way........ This is after emailing them twice and phoning them telling them to cancel my order with them!

I ordered from Nook on Thursday, got an e mail to say "your order is scheduled to ship" but nothing else.
Guess I won't see it.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -

I have two coming from Nook...or maybe not! I had the email yesterday saying they were ready for shpiping then this morning an email to say they were out of stock. their customer services is awful. I collected two from Argos yesterday and have two waiting for me at Sainsburys. The Sainsburys ones will be returned straightaway.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Ordered a Nook from Sainsburys on Thursday, after reading on here about cancelled orders etc.
Decided to have a look round and see if any other retailer had stock, PC World, Hull had stock so reserved, thinking I will cancel the Sainsburys one.
Next minute an email from Sainsburys saying awaiting collection
Wife seen it and she wants the other one, so my £29 Nook has now cost me £58
Don't do like I did and think screen has a protector on and try to peel off0 -

I've got two now because i cancelled my order direct from nook and did click and collect from John Lewis...then nook shipped theirs (because their customer service team is slower than the fulfilment team I presume!) and said I should refuse to accept the delivery but UPS just left it outside the door when I wasn't home.
I'm hoping nook will collect the spare one (or pay for the return postage) since they shipped after I cancelled...otherwise I'm not sure what to do with it as all my friends and family already have kindles.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -
Nooooooo.
Charged up the 2 we bought for the kids - you can guess what happened?
Yup, just ordered another 2 for OH and myself. For YEARS avid reader OH has been saying that he'd hate having a Kindle, no way will it replace the feel of a book and he wouldn't be caught dead with one as they'll never be any good.
Part of his set up of DSs Nook was to download a library book to try it out and see how it works before we hand them over to the kids - he's nearly finished the book. And has eaten much humble pie.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Yay, just received my Nook from John Lewis.
Any recommendation for a case....under a tenner?0 -
I ordered from the nook website on Wednesday, received 2 emails stating the shipment was scheduled for 1 May. However, having contacted them again, they tell me that they are out of stock and will ship when available. I guess that means they will ship when the returns come in...0

I've ordered one for under a fiver from Play (thanks to ringo 24601 upthread)
Mine arrived today from John Lewis. I found it when I arrived home in a shower of rain. The Hermes courier had delivered it by dropping it over a 6ft gate on to concrete!
As it's for a July birthday, I thought I'd better check it is still in working order so it's currently charging. If I register it to test it, will the Nook, and the planned recipient, be locked in to my Nook account or can it be transferred?0
