    Morning,

The grief monster snuck up on me last night although was my own fault really. Was looking through old video files which was fine but then I wanted my wedding DVD and I can't find it. I'm not worried as I know it's around somewhere, but in my search I found a letter I wrote DH a few days before he died, which he never got to read (although I read it out to him but don't know if he was with me, IYSWIM) then a letter his mum wrote to me just after the funeral.

Still, All's well after a bit of sleep (and I mean a bit ;)) and we are up and about but still in pjs. I've done a spot of cooking (smoky Parmesan corn cobs and cucumber salsa) to take to my aunt's party this afternoon. I also have hotdogs for the kids and lots of buns and some icing, sprinkles and sweets for the littlies. They can decorate their own, might keep them occupied for 10 min if its raining.

I've even cleaned the kitchen as I was going along, DW been on and WM, now hung upstairs as its showery here.

I've even lifted the seat on DS bike a little for him. And I took a load of pics from mums laptop yesterday on a DVD so loading those onto my external drive for backing up.

Oh and I've decluttered my eyebrows and bleached my top lip :rotfl: might bath the tots and get a shower. We could all use a hair wash...

When I got home last night there was a lovely bouquet for me on the porch. The lilies are not open yet, but I'm guessing they are white and with the red roses, they match my wedding bouquet (and the arrangement I had done for the funeral). I put a pic on fb and my cousin asked where from. MIL replied they were all the way from heaven, express delivery with love :A isn't that lovely.

Just keeping on top of toy clutter this morning, as we'll be home at kiddy bedtime, and then eb@yer is coming to collect. Don't want them picking their way through to the bed?

Me too. Must remember to always count my blessings.

Today hasn't started exactly as planned as I'm not even dressed yet, the garden is too wet to get out into to cut the grass and I am just procrastinating anyway. I need to get dressed, walk the dogs, pop to the shops and then DO SOMETHING.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Well, I temporarily got off my butt, did the washing up, hoovered downstairs and cleaned up a doggy puddle, but I'm back here now with a cuppa and a kiwi. And to make me feel worse, someone is actually cutting their grass even though its rained. I can hear it. I am going to presume it is a petrol mower and that I still can't do mine because our mower is electric. Note I say 'our mower'. It is not mine, even though DH rarely uses it.

Right, still need to get dressed, walk dogs, pop to shops and DO SOMETHING, ANYTHING!
