    Morning,
When I got home last night there was a lovely bouquet for me on the porch. The lilies are not open yet, but I'm guessing they are white and with the red roses, they match my wedding bouquet (and the arrangement I had done for the funeral). I put a pic on fb and my cousin asked where from. MIL replied they were all the way from heaven, express delivery with love :A isn't that lovely.

Thanks guys. And sorry to make you all cry but yes, count every little (or big!) blessing. I showed the littlies some vids of their dad, they were so happy to see them. And also Santa was on one (added bonus ;))

So we are all clean, just waiting for them to finish lunch and then we'll go get dressed and I'll try to flatten my hair.

Keeps coming out sunny then raining again. Better take some colouring books...

That's made me cry bossy - so lovely of your MIL. Hope you have a lovely day round your aunt's. ((hugs)) to you xx

    Me too xx

You helped me today Bossy. The sander we had reserved for the floor is not there as the previous person has not returned it so despite the room being totally empty the floor cannot be sanded.
Annoying, very, worth tears - certainly not. I have recommended DH paints the ceiling with the room empty and does all the sanding down of woodwork ready for decorating and the floor will have to be sanded next weekend instead.

    Narco congratulations on your 2.

LR curtain 1 washed and on the line, No2 in the machine. Not sure I want them back up but if I put them away they will at least be clean.

Dropping DS3 to watch DS1 play cricket now and to do a bit of a food shop etc then it would be good to do a few bits in the garden.

Dinner cooking.. chicken casserole with loads and loads of wilting veg lol... and used up some tins of soup that no one would eat (carrot and coriander!!??) and some ancient oxo cubes.. I WILL declutter that food cupboard some more! I have some new potatoes need using up so they will be cooked later too or they go mushy.

Just waiting for Dot to go down for a nap and we are taking DD2 for her prom dress (please let it be 20p!!!) I have just enough money to cover the kitchen being fixed I am going to have to put this on the credit card for a couple of weeks which I REALLY want to avoid.

2 loads of washing on the line, 2 in the WM and a pile of undies in the dryer.. bed sheets are in after Dot had a leaky nappy this morning and spread cheese and chocolate over everything.. Squeak brought the cheese up to us and they 'found' a hidden tin of celebrations so had a couple each.. not a healthy start to the day but they did make up for it with scrabbled egg, toast and Weetabix... and more cheese!!

Bossymoo - you do give me a sense of perspective, as AnWs mum (much missed) did before you. Thinking of you and yours.

Really cracking on with some long term decluttering upstairs here. Filthy, tired and sore as a result but the place already looks better.

I also need to tidy through downstairs though as we have various people coming to see the kittens this week, not potential homes, just cat lady friends like me. For those not on my Facebook we have 4 ginger kittens, born on Tuesday.
