i have changed 2 beds - I would do a third but DD2 is having 40 winks in hers atm!

My sister is organising my mums 85th birthday do! Yet again it's at a carvery - DD2 will eat everything except what's on the menu here - she will be running out for chips at some point in the proceedings...

There could be 33 of us!

Well doubtless mum will enjoy it!

It is really strange having an oven that doesn't sound as though a jumbo jet is taking off! I had to look in it just to check that the roast is in there!

I must have stumbled into an alternative universe - the weather forecast predicts 20 degrees and sun in York tomorrow - and it's a Bank Holiday!

Seems like only yesterday that I was freezing on HMS Belfast on Easter Monday!

    Afternoon all!!!

Today I have moved out the washing machine, cooker, 'fridge and tumble dryer and hoovered and mopped!! My kitchen is squeaky clean!!!

I have been really lacking motivation today and feeling very flat but still also managed to hoover and dust the living room/dining room.

I realised that I've been late/missed taking my anti depressants a couple of times this week and also I've not slept very well either :( hopefully the extra day off will cure that, and I've set an alarm on my phone for the pills so hopefully I won't forget again

Off to fetch DD from work now
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

We are forecast high temps tomorrow too. Hooked up gas to BBQ and checked it works. It does, so cleaned it. Was covered all winter but still cobwebby and grubby.

Kids were painting outside so hung their pics on washing line lol. I left a bowl of soapy water for messy hands and they just threw it at each other :rotfl: both drenched but at least their hands weren't covered in paint... They then played naked in the conservatory:o while I made dinner...

So I'm having a cuppa and some chocolate;) and some peace. Then an early night, my head feels fuzzy...

    See you next week x

    Evening all

Just in from watering the garden, the huge water butts which were brimming are rapidly decreasing. DS1 helped me tie the hazel hurdle back in place which I think the builder must have push out of the way when fitting the window. DS2&3 still playing in the garden.

I still have beds to make but apart from that done for the day. Flying really is basic here right now and will stay so for at least the next week if not longer as the house is turned upside down from the decorating.

    Off to create a list.
