    go for it pigpen, its really relaxing and seems to move faster than knitting. im left handed and have learnt basic crochet by watching youtube tutorials. ive mastered squares, flowers and little hearts and have even followed a pattern for a ruffle scarf.

    Thank you, Everyone, for your kind thoughts and wishes. It's really helped on a very tearful day for me. I thought as I was so prepared it wouldn't be difficult, so once again, Dog has taught me something. I carried her remains out and found myself wanting to go upstairs straight away to tickle her cheeks, because that always made me feel better when I was a bit discombobulated about something. (OH is away for a few days, although when I told him earlier that I'd made the decision he did offer to come back, which I appreciated.)

    I'm washing all of her bedding and bits and pieces and realised that what I need to do is foster another one after a bit of a break. Anyone know of any older, deaf, female collies or collie crosses that need a home ....
    Better is good enough.

    drain cleaner iwas testing worked very well, just filled the survey in and have now been offered an all purpose cleaner to test next. (tesc0 panel)

    I have tried a few times and been useless and shredded it after 5 minutes and thrown it in a cupboard never to see the light of day after a maximum of half an hour, I just can't get my head round it.. but maybe a class with other bodies would help? :p

    I'm not very sociable though.. and will be 7 months pg and have the attention span of a gnat.

    Good evening :D

    Just popped in to offer big (((hugs))) to Bossy & Honeybear

    Well - I finally phoned to get my boiler sorted on Monday. They sent someone round on Tuesday. It needed a part, so he came back Thursday to fit it. Two hours later he said it was all done :j
    Unfortunately, I realised a little later that it wasn't 'done' at all. In fact, it was worse!! :mad: Originally, I could only get hot water when the heating was switched on. Now, we have continuous hot water - and continuous heating!! :mad::mad: Even turning the thermostat down to 10 degrees and switching the heating off at the boiler didn't turn it off :eek: I had to resort to turning the boiler off at the mains. Result: NO HOT WATER!!! :mad::mad: Anyway, he came back for another 2 hours today - still not fixed! On the plus side, it turns out that we are entitled to a 100% grant for a new A rated bolier! :j:j Just need to wait a while for it (about 6 weeks, I think)

    I have bids on 5 items on ebay :j (we have 46 items listed :o) One of them is well into triple figures, with 40 watchers!! I am hoping for a late bidding frenzy and then I can pay off a debt or 2 :)

    2 loads of washing done, some gardening done (by DH), kiddies taken to the park after school in the sunshine :) I could get used to this weather :)
