Morning all. I haven't had time to catch up with the thread, but quick post before I start today's long day of paid stuff. I've really only managed the dailies this week although each room has had some attention via the odd little jobbie from the lists. I must spend some time tidying the gardens this weekend.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

New oven and hob installed this morning.
DH took the day off because he wanted to talk to them about the electrics. He didn't bother so they are wired in exactly like the old ones were.
So I will have to get someone out to sort this at a later date! I am SO not happy.
We were planning to have a belated 85th birthday party for my mum sometime in the summer holidays. This has had to be brought forward to June because one of my cousins is emigrating in early July and mum wants all the family together ( this is the cousin who never turns up for these family events.)
So it has to be June, despite my sister having 3 kids doing exams!:mad::mad:
So now DH is behaving like a spoiled brat - he will have to take a Saturday off from cricket (as will DS, but he's up for it!) for the first time in 4 years! He came back early from the Olympics to play cricket! He tells me they don't have enough players - well that's not MY fault - and I've given you 6 weeks notice to find 2 more!
And it's not as if most of the team won't have some time off over the summer anyway!
Anyway - rant over!
I'm still feeling crook, tbh. I just want to wake up with my energy back!
Hope all have a pleasant day and enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend.... only 2 more Bank Holidays after this before Christmas....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Morning all, I had a terrible nights sleep. Bad dreams links to this new counsellor digging around in past events
It seems that I only get to see her for the next 6 weeks so I don't see what good it's going to do, except upset me and give me sleepless nights
No motivation this morning, currently still in my pj'swaiting for the WM to finish. DD2 has emptied her side of the bedroom of dirty washing so it's going to take all weekend to catch up again
Today I plan to work on my room and the kitchen. I also need to write job lists for the DDs. I'm really hoping to be able to get out and work in the garden on Monday, it's long over due.

Has your very helpful DS tidied it away in the dustbin or bags of wallpaper?
I did think of that, have a look through one bin bag, and rummaged in the wallpaper bags, but not in there.
There are so many places an inventive child could hide it, it is not going to be anywhere logical....he can't or won't remember where it is (I suspect it is a "won't" as the EX made a comment about him wearing wellies last time he was over, but with a [STRIKE]bogfest for a[/STRIKE] garden and the beach not far away I have learnt my lesson trying to buy nice shoes for him for everyday useThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
DS has just quit for a nap....he has been bouncing around since 4am, although DD4 was a treasure and went back to sleep good as gold in between feeds.
Today I feel like death, so I am going to get WM on the go - while it looks like a low humidity day here today, I am going to try and get all the curtains through the wash, on the line and back at the windows by nightfall (with exception of DD1 curtains which were brand new up at the window last summer and the room is unoccupied 95% of the time)
DD4 is now deciding to air her lungs, so I might end up digging out the HM baby sling in a minute otherwise I am going to miss out
Right, time to commit - anyone free to join me in HH Curtain Stripping? The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Morning All
Peeing down from the heavens here, hope we get at least one good day over the weekend. Done sod all last night, was too busy being kids taxi. I am off to a party tonight so won’t get much done tonight & got a phone call late on yesterday saying my new suite is getting delivered Saturday, :T:j although it didn’t give me much time (my sister is taking my old one so she had to get something organised as well), she is coming for it tonight when I am out so we will only have dining chairs to sit on, good excuse to get the floor mopped before new sofa arrives. I have asked DH to quickly go over sofa, its not too bad actually but couldn’t give it to her without cleaning it.
I have left a wee list with DH so we shall see if hecan get anything done for me.
My me time is the hairdressers tomorrow afternoon.
