No flying done so far today took the car to the garage this morning as a unknown to me light came on yesterday and as its a new to me car (man in a van wrote mine off ) I was worried. Lovely man in the garage said everything was fine
Had a meeting at the job centre re changing from esa to job seekers to be told theyre left a message on my answerphone cancelling as I'd been put down for the wrong type of interview?? :eek::mad: Have to go back next week :mad: They'd paid me £30 in the bank today and that has some how got to last me til then. Don't know how when my gas and elctric is over that for a week Thank God I have parents that's all I can say

Kitchen is all sparkly. Before I cleaned it I prepped a bread-and-butter pudding (to use up stale bread) and made a lemon drizzle cake and a banana cake with very ripe bananas rescued from work. The banana cake will go back into work; I shall freeze it.
Been to collect DD from school and voted.

I voted by post last weekend. If people choose not to vote then that is fine by me but I never want to hear them complain about any of the local services, government etc if they can't be bothered to put a cross in a box.

ive done a bit of stitching this afternoon, bought the washing in dealt with emails and post. just going to prep tea then finish digging the veg plot as the stuff growing in the kitchen window needs to be outside soon.
got DD3 and fiancee round for a film and tea so can do more knitting tonight while film is on.

got 2 malt loaves in the oven rising (DS school news letter has a recipie on each month and i had malt extract to use up - didnt have sultanas so mine have got dates in LOL

been making a start on another chrstmas pressie this afternoon

it will be a cushion front once its finished either fr my mum or mil - ive got another different patterned cushion to do as well so they'll get one each

Ok who stole this week? It has just gone away from me for some reason, I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. Where on earth did the rest of the time go.? I haven't even got a tidy/sparkly/gleaming/untidy (delete at will!) house to show for it...:rotfl: Oh wait I have tidied up my living room - well I had to do that so that it didn't look horrible when the new suite was installed in it. So I suppose I have one tidy room. Oh and I descaled the bathroom taps and cleaned the bath and sink.. Oooh I did stuff!!!

I've been doing the washing, but for some reason the ironing seems to build up. That isn't fair, all the washing has been dried lovely outside but it gains on Mt Ironmore..I don't want that..lol It means I have to do some ironing soon..Oh well looks like I might do it tomorrow while decluttering stuff on the Tivo Ironing or housework..big decision..lol

• [STRIKE]Make sure those smoke alarms are working!!! (do not set fire to anything.. just press the button!!)[/STRIKE]
• [STRIKE]Go through your make up/nail varnish. Throw anything that has gone past it's shelf life or worse still has a life of it's own..[/STRIKE]

Empty a cupboard or drawer and fling all that is no longer needed and rehome anything that shouldnt be there!

• Binbag dance.. fling that rubbish!
• Polish any mirrors and pictures and glassware

Thrilling Thursday - Kitchen and Dining mess

Empty cutlery drawer.. wash cutlery tray and replace everything neatly.. get rid of all the odds and sods that shouldn't be in there..
Sweep and mop the floor

• Wash the windows
• Sort through the freezer.. what do you have loads of and what needs using first.. vacuum up those escaping peas and brussels!!
• Wipe down paintwork/sideboards/units in dining room
• Meal plan for the next week and make a shopping list... based on what you found in the freezer.

Friday Frolics - Guess what it's catchup day!

S&S the kitchen and bathroom
Make time to do something for yourself!! A haircut, a long bath, a facial... whatever it takes.. do it!

Whizz over the main living area.. make it presentable
Change any smelly bedding that needs doing
Clean the fluff out of the TD filters.. or clean the WM/DW filters
Level Three
HHC clearing the messiest room in the house
Wash any windows that are needy
Complete 1 task you have been 'meaning' to do for ages and not done it!!
Extras

• Make sure you have everything ready for school/work for next week.. PE kits, socks, homework done etc.
• Clean out a cupboard..
• Polish all your electrical appliances.. tv's, stereos etc
• water and wipe any neglected plants
• Collect all the dirty laundry strewn about the house.. bedroom floors are the worst!
• Sort through your most used handbag.. get rid of those receipts and used tissues!
• make a note of any calls you need to make or appointments that need keeping this week!
