Have to say I agree with you on USING the vote Mrs MP - it was hard-won as you say; likewise I'm not going to enter into a debate for who.

I'd forgotten about the election today :/ apart from the card coming through the door I've had no other info, no leaflets, nothing. Don't even know who there is to vote for!

no voting here today :D Saves me not going :p

I am in agony today.. every time I move it is like someone ripping my leg off and I can't seem to stop blubbering. So of course OH drives like a moron to school swerves around a pothole and a car and a cyclist and several corners.. he will be taking them on his own in future if he carries on doing this.

Waiting to hear about Squeaks nursery place still, not sure when they send out the letters tbh

I have to fold 1000 loads of washing today and get it put away so dirty stuff can be brought down! DD2 loaded the DW last night but it needs at least another 2 runs to clear the kitchen.

2 small pinks fed and dressed and will be hoofed out into the garden shortly.. OH needs to go out on poo patrol first :p He is scoffing his breakfast so can't send him now.

I'm another one who believes in using her vote! - except that we haven't got any elections in our city today :p

Valli, how about the complete Chronicles of Narnia? - there are several sets on eB@y including unread, starting from about £5. They can be enjoyed by everyone - children and adults alike. My children cut their reading teeth on them, and I have given them to each of my godchildren including my German godson, and they all love them. I've had a set ready for my DGS1 ever since he was born.

Beautiful day here too. Sorted car insurance and hair appointment this morning. Must now get out into the garden and sort the shed. People are coming to collect FreeCycled [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] goodies, which will finally clear the yard.

    Great news about Ed, Dusty!

Good luck to mummyroysof5! We sold in a month: hope you do the same. We have a moving date and just over 4 weeks to get everything packed :D - but the diary is horrendously full already, especially with farewell meals with friends! Oh yes, I have also arranged removals quotes.

(((Hugs)) and spoons to all in need.

played a rather childish game of trance/garage music V's rock with the teenager next door. meatloaf has won!

i dont normally let it bother me as i have teens myself but all ive heard all morning is the thud of bass through the wall, so i put a bit of bat out of hell on to mask it. (and just let him have a quick blast of how loud my sound system could go if pushed) his is now a reasonable volume again.

Someone has eaten all the lunchbox treats I bought at T. on Monday. I am so exasperated with it. If I go back to T I will end up spending £30 that I really do not want or need to spend all to get a few cake bars.

DS1 has left college. He's causing so much grief I am at my wits end. He has to get out of the house when I am here or I start hyperventilating with stress. DH is being worse than useless. He sent me a bunch of flowers. I don't want flowers, I want his support and I don't get it. Whenever I talk to him he changes the subject then rings off with some made up flimsy excuse. He's coming back home today but I wish he'd stay away because I know we are heading for a big row.

Aww big hugs to you, you also sound like you are going through the mill just now, do you not have a Home Bargains near you? I go in there before doing supermaket shop & get all the lunchbox treats in there, my kids also love the Aldi crisps 69/79p for 6 pack so I am happy to pay that :rotfl:

Piggers - If its a boy, it doesnt necessarily mean he would have same issues as your boys have now? & I am sure OH will love the wee bundle no matter if its pink or blue.
If I was near you, I would come round & give you a big squishy (gentle) hug :eek:as I know your wee bones are sore & then help you with your house, by that I mean I would take wee ones to look after while you cleaned :rotfl:, seriously though, I know the bathroom & kitchen must be adding to your stress & hope you are feeling better soon & hope you & Mumto5 are not near each other, 2 bombs would set of WWIII

Excellent work on the boy's room. You're fairly close to me *sniggers evilly*

Have two lots of washing on the line and have washed one of DS's pillows. Have a tiny tiny tiny shoot from a potato *is thrilled and grinning* - going to go out and water shortly!

Homes under the Hammer are filming my neice's house post purchase and pre-doing up! Second time that family have had an auction purchase on there...I will tip you off when it's on!
