  • I'll join you OM - spent far too long in this bed catching up on pooter things.

I have a catering job tomorrow for a funeral, so today is deck-scrubbing the kitchen, purchasing and prepping, before I leave for work at 4.30 tonight. Meat order from butchers arrived at 8am this morning, so really no excuse to still be sitting here

Babies fed and watered.. they are going in the bath in a sec because they are grotbags.. Dot has crispy hair after rubbing pasta in it last night.. ice skating later I think.

I need to text KH to see if he is keeping the children until Monday it being bank holiday and all.

I have a cardy to knit for the baby which I started last night ... and promptly cried all over... I think I might have lost the plot a touch.. Oh well, sanity is for the.... sane, I guess :p

DS2 not in college today so he can collect the pinks from school.. at least they sit still until bedtime when they walk home. :p

A bit of everything.. I didn't think I would react this badly to the gender (I want a boy for OH but my boys have so many issues I don't want another boy, but 8 girls is excessive and OH would be upset and then replacing all the baby stuff DS1 wrecked with Fabian.. the gender wouldn't have made any difference really, whatever we were told it was this was going to happen.. legs together and a loop of cord in the groin does not make things easy so while they think probably one gender they weren't able to be very sure), I have a touch of BD, I hurt and am therefore not sleeping and I have hormones.. basically I am a ticking bomb and meltdown could occur at any moment.

I am just hysterical and need to pull myself together.. and then there is the house.. the shower is still unusable and the kitchen is still without a ceiling.

    Hello ladies.

Short day at work today. DS1 and DD1 have managed to mess up the kichen that I cleaned this morning before the school run.
Someone has eaten all the lunchbox treats I bought at T. on Monday. I am so exasperated with it. If I go back to T I will end up spending £30 that I really do not want or need to spend all to get a few cake bars.

I had a very busy day yesterday. Loads of flying then 3 sets of visitors (unannounced) after school. MIL and my Sister and the boys from over the road. I did my usual babysitting last night.

Drs appt was this morning and I'm being sent for blood tests and an ultrasound. That took ages so I had to make another appointment to talk to dr about the BD that is lurking.

DS1 has left college. He's causing so much grief I am at my wits end. He has to get out of the house when I am here or I start hyperventilating with stress. DH is being worse than useless. He sent me a bunch of flowers. I don't want flowers, I want his support and I don't get it. Whenever I talk to him he changes the subject then rings off with some made up flimsy excuse. He's coming back home today but I wish he'd stay away because I know we are heading for a big row.

The garden is looking much better after my efforts on Monday and the sun is shining so that is something positive to lift my mood.

lovely to read the news about Ed Dusty. That's another plus.

Aww piggers (squeeze) (its not a real hug ;)) are you having a pink one? How lovely! It might feel overwhelming but each and everyone is a heap of blessings, whatever flavour they are :D

Just got in from paid stuff, although need to log back on but the computer is saying no. If it says no again later I will text the boss man and gleefully hand it back to him, as i am done until Tuesday!

We have a well stocked fridge, a few plans for entertainment over the next 5 days and some pennies to spend. I don't wanna think about work. My only tasks are to buy a kiddy birthday present, a 40th card for my friend and take DS old bed apart for the lady who is coming from Derby to buy it!!! Am sure she could have got a new one for less than what it will cost in price and petrol. Still, thank heavens for the last-minute eb@y frenzy :rotfl:

We do see, to have accumulated some carp in the kitchen. I have a job-lot of kids vitamins and calcium as they were on amazon watch and the price dropped last week. So I could do with making some cupboard space. And the shoe rack in the garage / playroom is overflowing :o, we may put some winter bits away.

Will update lists later, meanwhile, I shall go and retrieve my children...

    X

ETA I've been meaning to add too, very good news about Ed must have been heartwarming to see him out and about.

Summer time flying continues here. Walked today and it was so lovely, ducklings and goslings were so fluffy to see.

Been to town, library and admired the beautiful town spring planting.

Sat in the garden with DS1 for a while then he edged the strawberry beds and I potted on tomato seedlings.

DS3 and DS1 now practising cricket in the garden and DS2 catching up with Dallas.

Flying I've washed up and DS1 has emptied the DW.
