    Mmmmmm Michael Buble ....

GI and Pigpen I know it's late, but huge congratulations. Also, Pigpen, I hope you get the answers you need with the assessments. Mumto5: Coping vibes and hugs.

Thank you Narco. Dog hasn't realised that when OH gives her white chocolate it has a pill in it, so she's morphed this morning, courtesy of him (I did all the rest). She's had a walk and is tottering about thinking about napping.

I've swept the bits of the kitchen floor that can be done without moving anything, with a view to giving it a thorough sweep and wash later, done the bathroom and sorted out another kitchen drawer. Yesterday's list is half done. The shower room is next, lickety spit, and eventually today's list will be tackled as I'm on a drawer sorting mission at the moment. Another bedroom needs to be prepared for today's new lodger and then a quick vacuum around on the ground floor so the bird seed and other detritus that's been collecting in corners isn't quite so obvious when she walks in.

The forecast is sunny and it felt warm for the first time this year when I walked Dog earlier, so together with a bunch of putting-away-winter and clothes hand washing, the washing machine is going to be twirly all day. It's going to be a long one.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning All

Hope you are well, I think my psychic energy must be kicking this week :rotfl: because as soon as I got up this morning, I stripped my bed, put WM on so I could get it all put out before starting work, duvet is also on line airing, also started clearing the floordrobe, (all before looking at listy) so will carry on with that & remake bed later tonight after dinner. I did finally manage HHI last night & have kept iron board & steam genny in LR so I can do more tonight, not ideal or tidy but if its upstairs in my room then its a hassle bring it downstairs, :rotfl: if its in the LR then I will do it. My DH done both bathrooms yesterday, even took the shower doors completely off to clean them & the gunky bits that are hard to reach under them, he also hoovered the hall, stair & landing.

It’s a gorgeous sunny day here, I love it when the sun shines, think it lifts everyones moods, throw the BD out into the sunshine & leave them there

Mumto5– Hope you get on ok at docs & BD goes away soon

HoneyMeant to say yesterday hope your old girl is doing ok

Effing paper shufflers at the council.. cheeky f***ers just sent me a letter complaining about some rubbish (car tyres and kitchen unit) which were dumped by next door but one outside my house... threatening me with legal action... so they got a reet snotty email in reply.. I told them if they have an issue with something at my property to knock on the door given all the stuff for the tip outside my house has been there 3 days at most (it went out Saturday and Sunday) and if they don't like it tough titty it is getting more added to it over the next week and then it will be sorted. If they cared to check up the road a little there is a house whose front yard has been 5ft deep in rubble for the last 5 months. I added a small bit about the pregnancy and crutches and the fact it was I who cleared up the state left by the binmen a few weeks ago with used sanitary towels and bags of dog crap all over the footpath and in the road

I'd have rang but I wanted a written record of my contact.

TD on again.. I have to do some folding today which requires loading the DW and cleaning the table..

Tesco delivery 11-12... it best be nearer 11 we have no milk which means no cuppa!!!

  • Good morning :D

My bed stripped, washed & now hanging on the line. Heating engineer has been & gone - needs a part, so will be back (next week probably). I have completed some forms for one of the kiddies' parents (student finance). DH has written & posted some letters (frogs) & just got back from the docs with a new prescription for ADs.

Miss T just having lunch then I am taking her to nursery. I need to tell them that she has visitors in her hair. I told mum last night. Apparently she checked her this morning & found nothing  Funny cos I have seen them crawling from a distance & pulled them out!!:mad: Makes me itch thinking about it! (rant over)

Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them

    Howdy

Am in the office and just having a breather and some soup. Need to pop to Mr S on way home as apparently I'm starving the children ;) although granny is taking them out for tea after swimming. Will put bin out tonight too as it's the start of our fortnightly collections now so don't want to miss it  they do come really early sometimes and I have to run out and say "another one please!!!" whilst dragging binbag behind me lol.

Also really need to make Granny's bed I can't remember the last time I changed it :o poor granny.

Then I'll do whatever I've got time for. We're having a quiet Thu/Fri so will get a little more done then.

    Laters!

Tesco been, dumped and now all put away.. apart from the cereal and juice which I can't do.

I'll hang out some laundry in a second, but it'll have to wait until the pain in my hips subsides a little.

DH has talked to him on the phone. He's told him there is no free ride from here on in and that he has to get a job. He's got to leave the house by 9am and stay out of my way. The BD is snapping àt my heels. I have a drs appt tomorrow. I think I need a double appointment.

Stick thrown at BD; let it snap away and catch flies. Enjoy your garden and take lots of nice deep breaths.

So tired after last night's gym, only managed one zumba this morning then collapsed in gym cafe with friends and cappuccino. But did a quick shop on way home, have attacked floordrobe in bedroom, put away clean clothes from last wash and about to put wm on again.

Anyone for half an hour's weeding before lunch?

The things we do to get their meds down their necks!:D Cameron (diabetic) used to have his injection once his nose was in his food bowl; Pip had her Metacam (liquid) squirted onto a slice of ham, wrapped round and stuffed into her mouth before it could ooze out; Sidny had his Metacam on bread - much easier because it just soaked in and he ate it happily, and he would come and stand patiently for his insulin injection before his food; Megan was easy - just chuck her glucosamine capsule in the bowl with her food!

I need to do two rooms today; (lounge/ hall + bathroom) as Mr LW is on leave tomorrow.

We shall also be visiting the hand therapy unit at the horse piddle tomorrow, in the hope we can get some sort of plan of action to get shot of these damned wrist splints. So I'm a tad shaky today - I have a lot riding on this, I don't think I can bear the idea of wearing the wretched things throughout the summer; I have to find a way of getting my hands better, there's no other acceptable option.

Mumto5 I hope the GP appointment went well, and that DS1 can get his act together and get a job.
