Natty.. it's a wait and see. The leggies were tightly clutching a loop of the cord.. we were given a 70-75% guess but nowhere near definite.. either way I was going to be devastated, I just didn't realise it would be to this extent!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Hi All!
Where has the day gone? We've been out for a play date, then popped to the shops. My mum isn't well and needs some stuff so we went to get those and will spend tomorrow at hers. I'll do some flying there for her I think. Then we've been in the garden all afternoon.
I used leaf blower to clear the bark off the lawn and back to its rightful home, then cut the grass. I've been brave and planted out my seedlings although they did germinate in the cold frame so shouldn't be the shock factor. We had a bit of a chiminea bonfire, and had chicken stew and dumplings for dinner on the patio!
They've had the slide out and popup tent and all the bikes so lots of fun had by all.
Have just taken DS bed apart and stashed the other bits in a bag for our eb@yer on Saturday.
Now having supper and a bit of telly!Bossymoo

Perfect evening to have spent at cricket. DS3 on top form and they won their first game of the season. Home game so in full sun the whole time - may have been wise to put sun cream on, next time!
Just having some soup now and then I need to clean up the kitchen and iron DS2 a shirt for school tomorrow.
Must take rough LR measurements to get some rug ideas from IKE@ tomorrow. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all
Hugs and spoons to all.
GUAG has gone after a poor nights sleep. Going to bed soon and hope to feel like a hoomin again tomorrow (or as close as I get)
Thanks for the reminder to vote. The quote in my signature is on the headstone of Emmeline Pankhurst and used as a political slogan. I felt so tired after work and almost didn't go, but went down and exercised my democratic right. I'm pleased I made the effort.
Flying wise
DW on & emptied
Cutlery, mug & glassware drawers cleaned out.
Can't use WM at the moment a bit scared too in case a) it walks across the sunroom and makes a break for it across the garden
b) more bits fall off internally and it breaks
Washing is piling up but on the plus side my ironing basket is empty :rotfl:
Have a great night all

Am sat in conservatory. Is getting dark, solar fairy lights have switched on. Looks very sweet. And it's peaceful. Can hear a little chirruping, think even the birds are getting ready for bed by now. Me too I think. Starting to chill down a bit now...
Have cleaned out the cutlery drawer and the kids shelf, brushes and hair bobbles overflowing...Bossymoo

Cats had their flea treatment for the month (much to their disgust, my placid cat hates the spot on, so much so I almost have to rugby tackle him and quickly drop the liquid on the back of his neck).
Goodnight all

Have remade DS's bed with a clean pillow - they do get yukky!
I have loaded DW and am just about to load WM for their night shift.
Most of the washing I dried outside today is ironed; cake's been frozen. I'm only off for one day ... I really don't need to be in holiday mode which I appear to have slipped into today.:eek:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
