Ok who stole this week? It has just gone away from me for some reason, I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. Where on earth did the rest of the time go.?

NO idea, there's been no time in Herts - or if there is any it has totally bypassed me.

Can't remember when I posted last so won't bore you all for possibly the second time this week on how little I've achieved!
Anyway, 0fsted doing their final summing up tomorrow so may check email some time to see if I'm still employed (till I hand in my notice which is likely to be in the next few weeks). They didn't manage to find me at all. I'm half relieved and half annoyed I didn't get to show what I can do; apparently they don't watch any 1:1 teaching sessions.

House looks a mess although am making some small progress with the [STRIKE]jungle[/STRIKE] garden. OH has tomorrow off too, so hopefully we'll get a lot done in the next 4 days.

hi everyone. i haven't caught up on thread so apologies. many thanks for everyones congratulations... ive had my app letter for my first scan ... 6th june ... it still hasn't sunk in .... im worried there is going to be something wrong .... i think this is the main reason it hasn't sunk in mainly because im scared if i believe it all and get excited i will get hurt even more ... hope that makes sense.
ive had sore breasts and a slight increase in CM but thats it ... hopefully that is enough atm for everything to be ok. im only 7 weeks 2 days so its still very early days probably why im not getting many symptoms ... no flying today as was out .... although MIL washed up for me when she popped round to see to the dog for us and probably did other stuff but i haven't noticed :o ... tbh im half asleep ... off to bed after this cuppa so will say night night and see you all in the morning xxx

as requested by a few of you last night :)

    Malt Loaf

    1 tbsp brown sugar
    3 tbsp malt extract
    2 tbsp black treacle
25g/1oz butter (plus extra for greasing)
350g/12oz strong white bread flour (plus extra for flouring)
100g/3 1/2oz strong wholemeal bread flour
    pinch salt
    14g/1/2oz fast action yeast
    225g/8oz sultanas
    250ml/9fl oz warm water
    1tbps warm honey to glaze

    method
    1. Place sugar, malt extract, treacle and butter in pan heat gently until butter has melted and sugar has dissolved. leave to cool.
    2. Mix flours, salt, yeast and sultanas in a mixing bowl.
    3. add warm water to the cooled malt syrup mixture, and pour over dry ingredients, stir thoroughly. The mixture will be soft and sticky.
    4. Turn onto floured surface and knead gently for a few minutes to bring all ingredients together..
    5. Grease 2 1lb loaf tins and divide mixture between them. Smooth the mixture with the back of a spoon so the top is even and level. cover each with a plastic bag or cling film, leave in a warm place for a couple of hours to rise.
    6. preheat oven to 190*C/375F/Gas 5
remove plastic and bake for 30/40 mins. If top of loaf start to brown to quickly cover with loose sheet of foil and continue baking.
    7. remove from oven and brush the top with warm honey to glaze. cool on a wire rack. slice and eat with butter.

written exactly as was in the school newsletter.
mine wasnt sticky it was more like a dough but has risen well and tastes nomm. but i did swap sultanas for dates as i hadnt got any of those
