    Hi all

I did my Friday room yesterday, so today is random frogs, tadpoles, and maybe even a toad or two.:D

I have three pairs of Mr LW's jeans out on the line (WM on overnight and he hung them out before he went to work):A and I'm really, really frustrated, as it's a lovely curtain-drying day, but there's absolutely no way I can get the curtains down myself to wash. Bl00dy lupus!:(

Mrs mp thanks for posting the malt loaf recipe - I've snagged it, and if I can get some malt extract, I'll give it a go in the near future.

Today is exactly eleven years since the wine-tasting where Mr LW and I *ahem* first sort of "clicked".:o Gods, where has the time gone??:o

Anyways - if anyone wants to join me for a a HHC of some sort, I'm going for HHWiiFit starting 11:40.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Right, time to commit - anyone free to join me in HH Curtain Stripping?

I did Skinty!! :) Stripped both bedrooms curtains and my bedding (the girls was done at the beginning of the week). Just waiting for the WM to finish again so I can wash them.
Made a couple of phone calls, first a quick one to my mum letting her know how the counselling went and the other to my best friend just for a catch up.

I decided to not post about this before the event, but I made the decision last night to let Dog go. Because we'd known it was going to happen, we were really well prepared, and in the end she was on her own bed in front of her radiator, sedated, and actually scoffing white chocolate while she fell asleep. She was completely unfazed by it all. I'm so pleased for her and so grateful to the lovely vet.
    Better is good enough.

HB - sorry for the loss of Dog. You sound like an amazing owner who gave her so much love and care. ((hugs)) to you and your OH.

    LW - happy anniversary

WW - hope the counselling improves for you. I had CBT counselling and it saved my life.

Bossy - hope you're ok - I believe today is an anniversary of some sort ((hugs)) to you and your kiddies.

No flying done yet apart from sort the cats out this morning.

Plan of action after the paid stuff:

Hopefully WM repair man comes at lunch time so I can get the clothes washed and out on the line
Hoover LR, kitchen, bathroom, stairs & landing
    Clean shower room
    Clean bathroom
    Mop kitchen & bathroom floors
    Clean fridge
    File some paperwork

Not sure what's wrong with me today. Feel a bit teary. Need to keep busy and keep on keeping on.

Hope the sun is shining where you are

Honey.. you gave her a beautiful end to her life and you definitely did your best for her. ((((((hugs))))))

Opto-mum.. I get it really bad when pg so I feel like death on a stick today.. definitely need to be staying in the house though :(

I had a strop at OH.. he was moaning about doing Dots stinky nappy (she kicks and fights and screams all the time you are changing her) She was shouting for me while he was doing it and he moaned so I snapped off his head and said fine I will hurt myself and risk her falling on the floor just so he doesn't have to do the nappies.. I do heck of a lot more than is medically advised so I can't see why he has grounds to complain over a couple of nappies a day.

Dot is playing... with toys!! She has a bath duck and a pirate ship.. and apparently a yoghurt lid!. She never plays with toys!!!! :D

Food time in here I think.. I am starving!!

Honey Bear - I am tearful for you. What a way to let her go, and what a way you have looked after her.

That may not help the pain of loss now, but you will know what a great life you gave her.

Many hugs and good wishes, R x

Thanks for the company WW my two sets of BR curtains ready to peg out in a minute, DD2 and DD3 curtains now in the wash, and 3 x LR curtains taken down ready to wash. DS still conked out, DD4 was a crippler in the sling after about 40 minutes as she is not quite strong enough to sit bolt upright in it and a bit to chunky to lay across in it like a newborn :(

Dusted all curtain rails in LR and "tickled" the metal venetian blinds....I am hoping to change them for Ike@ wooden ones once Lakeside gets some new stock delivered.

Now on Daisy duty so, hoping DD4 conks out too, so I can start pegging out.

BTW, it may be worth asking about extra funding for more sessions even if its through a different organisation- 6 weeks for me was nowhere near enough, I am now about 6 months in with my 5th batch of counsellor lead therapy in 3 years (personalities shouldn't matter, but when you are talking about real deep stuff you even hide from yourself sometimes it is a case of right counselling, wrong counsellor). We have only just got me to the stage of actual starting CBT type exercises cos there was so much other stuff weighing down that I couldn't see beyond. It is still a big upheaval to get myself to my appointment and I still feel flattened by a steam roller when I come out. Not a cure by any means but there are some small changes that I am noticing, I am not sure how many sessions I have left with this counsellor, but I am supposed to progress onto group therapy at some point soon.

Stick with it, its like flying, you have to declutter a little bit at a time, so you can see where you want to clean :grouphug:
The cold never bothered me anyway
