Good morning everyone...not a lot to report from me except that I'm refusing to spend any more money this month! My petrol tank is running on fumes and my purse is empty. Tomorrow is payday so I'll have to sit on my hands as I'm trying really hard to not dip into June's money until June actually starts.Siouxsie32 wrote: »
I wrote to my gym today to cancel my membership. I don't really want to cancel, I'm just hoping they call me and offer me an incentive to stay
Hmm, it seems our relationship is over as I received a letter this morning letting me go! I really thought they'd get in touch to offer a free month or some free PT sessions or some other incentive to stay. Oh well. My membership is still active til the end of June and I have a family holiday at the beginning of July so I'll start looking for deals elsewhere after that.0 -
Hello all,
It's looking like a SFD finally. Hubby did want to go to the pics tonight but has realised footy's on tv so that may win out. I don't mind either way. If we stay in I'm going to get back to being crafty again.0 -

Amazing what is considered a treat these days huh?! :rotfl: I may have to join you in June though L2B - for the first time in my life I have dropped a bra size. No idea why, I just know it's very annoying! I only bought new bras (in the larger size) a couple of months ago  So now I'm wear the last of my old bras that I kept as an "emergency" spare.
But I've not bought anything yet, and can report that yesterday was a SFD and today was too! An there's no reason tomorrow won't be another . . . :TTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -
Found a big A4 notebook that I'll use for my aims and achievements as well as plans for craft projects etc.
Glad it's quiet at work so i can plan and make lists. It's as exciting as having a new exercise book in school, sad I know.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

One word. Socks.
I always match. Always buy in sets. Two thongs, One pant and One bra. Can't do it different. Haven't bought any in a year. Although I have about 12 sets to keep me going..“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Hello Everybody...
I have just had a massive tub of yellow sticker pesto pasta (44p for 400g ) and I am stuffed. The day is going swimmingly for me - not as tired as I thought I would be but gearing up for another LONG few days..
Siouxsie sorry your gym aren't being nice - you will find a better one I am sure! Due to high turn-overs ( I used to work in one ) they don't care when you leave cause they will sign up another 10 in your place...I know you will find one that suits your budget and personality!
Wanna_be.. lets settle in for the rest of the week together of SFD's..:T
Thrifty I am liking this list.. I shoulda added in " read all your books" to the challenge but I can't even do that with the few I have left from my book purge. And can you believe I don't miss any of them... The declutter will enable you to see just how much stuff you have and it will be really difficult when it comes to replacing the stuff even with new things.. you will be super tough on yourself.. I like it... can't wait to see how you get along!
LionHeartedGirl - I am always envious of people who play instruments etc - what do you play? I need theme tune.:T
OT might stretch into next week so I am gearing myself up for a serious extended lack of sleep. Keep the tea rolling in....
More Later...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Have convinced Hubby to stay in tonight as both of us were a bit "well, if you want to, I don't mind either way" so as neither of us were raring to go out it seemed pointless to go out.
Plan is to wrap up some of his pressies so he can't go peeking and make some cards for June - birthdays for MIL, BIL & SIL, our wedding anniversary, father's day x2 and bessie moving to new house. Should keep me out of trouble for a few evenings0 -
NSD to report - had some sad news today - someone we know passed away suddenly at the weekend. Things like this certainly give a reality check to those around. Woods v's trees and all that
Have set my mum on a mammoth mending spree - 4 dresses that were indecent on dd have been made into very nice skirts and a princess outfit has been mended. Just cos the debt is gone doesnt mean Im about to go on a spend spree - however...
yesterday we went on the charity shop trail - dd found some fairy books for 95p each - I initially said she could choose two but then as she was about to pay I asked the assistant how much for the lot!! So for £10 she has all 14 - she loves them and is starting to read herself and can manage these. Ive said no to so many requests of late that it was a pure pleasure to see the look of joy on her face
Right tea nearly ready - June nearly here - onwards and upwards on our new found fairy magicLove LAGLx

Siouxsie32 wrote: »Sarah, I love Sophie Kinsella's books! I downloaded her last one and loved reading it on my iPad but I felt so disappointed afterwards that I couldn't pass it on to someone else. It seemed such a waste. Having said that, it's £7.49 to download and about £12ish to buy the hardback copy. Looks like I've found where the first spend from June's misc budget is going
It really is one of her best, wasn't too fussed with the last couple but this one is Kinsella gold!
Long day at work, then went round to Mums for a little party for my sisters birthday (lots of cake!) and have now returned home. Put a load of washing in and am going to spend the rest of the evening working on my June budget. The rock and roll lifestyle eh... ha ha
Very sorry to hear of your bad news Living a good life, hope you are ok x0 -
