    Good Morning Chickadees..

Been posting on my own thread and with muchos advise from the lovely Siouxsie am making plans to get a new shiny Halifax Reward Account open. However Siouxsie I am sorry you have such massive bills expected in the next month - how jolly awful for you! I know what it feels like though!!! Bike hasn't been put in for repairs just yet but the lovely £349 bill is winking at me...

I am having a slow day otherwise... it will be another SFD today I think...

Just plotting and scheming for the moment!..; - )

    Morning all,
Well we had a full nights sleep!! Yay for antibiotics!! DD is getting there - still uncomfortable but not enough to wake her so its an improvement. Just got to pray that when the course is finished the abscess stays gone.

Planning a food shop this evening - child free is much easier and will do my best to work today.

Sioxsie I used to use myfitnesspal.com its a free one and you can add your own recipes - I used to use a pay per month one but found this to be just about as good.Once you have done a few days and your normal foods are in there it gets quicker!!

Mrs Toast hope your DS continues to be on the mend!!

Right work to do - Love LAGL xx

Collated funds from around different accounts. TopCashBack / PayPal including what I had put aside for Bike Insurance and the Emergency £1000. Paid £293 towards the Bike Loan = £102.40 left. What is saved in interest and no payment in June will replace the money for my Bike Insurance. I had to do it. I want rid of this stupid loan.

    Hello everyone

Well it was going to be a SFD as I didn't spend anything while in town. We're currently having problems with DS going to the loo so we have said if he goes to the toilet he can have some chocolate (wee's excluded). Well he went this afternoon so we had to go round to the shop for some but I'm not bothered about it ruining my SFD just relieved :rotfl:

Anyway, while I was in town I paid a huge £3.75 onto the barclaycard out of a penny jar and chased up having my mortgage balance on my online banking.

Tomorrow I'm having a spend day but all budgeted for. Visiting BHS for the free fish and chips with my Aunt and while in Warrington I will do the food shop for the next 10 days. My plan at BHS is to buy 1 hot drink and then split the fish and chips between DS and I to save money :rotfl:

Living a Good Life thanks for asking about DS. He's still suffering but not as much I think. Preschool had to drag him off me this morning as he didn't want to go. He's a bit clingy when he's ill. Glad to hear your DD is improving with her antibiotics.

I'm checking in to report a SFD as well :D

Did a load of batch cooking this afternoon and managed to get my washing dried in about 10 mins as it was so blowy!

Meeting up with a friend tomorrow so it'll be a spendy, but it's an afternoon get together so hopefully I can keep the cost (and the calories ) down!

Had an SFD yesterday but need milk today so will pop to LIDL in my lunch break and see what offers they have as I brought my shopping list for DS birthday party. Will only buy offers if the items are on my list anyway. The rest I'll get tomorrow. Checked the freezer and don't even need to top up anything. I definitely get better at the grocery shopping front in terms of what do we need vs just buying the usual stuff.
