Why are mentally disabled people dangerous? I was referring to the fact that certain people who are mentally disabled can be a bit noisy.

I don't understand where you've got the dangerous from!

did you notice i used the word "if"?

tbh, if i had the choice between flying on an aircraft with no mentally disabled people and an aircraft with mentally disabled people making a lot of noise i would rather go for the quiet aircraft.... and you know what? most people would feel the same way.....

There's no medication for this condition. Over inflated sense of self importance is terminal i believe ?

When did doughnut say all mentally disabled are dangerous?

Doughtnut clearly said IF they are, they shouldn't be allowed to. It's quite obvious that some mentally disabled would not be able to cope with flying! No-one has said ALL and tarred with the same brush!

The point I was making, was that there should be no instant connection between being mentally disabled and being a danger to others. Such an assumption is offensive.

Lokolo, I don't understand your position.

You now say that you don't want to ban parents of children from flying (post 118), but you called HiToAll 'arrogant' for planning to fly to Cuba with her child (post 47).

Given that parents can't know how their child will react when flying... do you expect all parents to voluntarily choose not to fly until their children are old enough to sit still? Is that your position?

Why bring it up in the first place?

Anyone can be dangerous but the first thing you thought was they are dangerous. That's greatly offensive.

You should be ashamed of what sort of person you are!

Yes it is. I think it's just polite and courteous.

The arrogance was to expect to have the right to fly even if it could cause upset or misery to other passengers.

Do you know how few people are in Broadmoor, in comparison to the number that get tried for murder? Claiming to be mentally ill is very different from actually being mentally ill.

But you keep going with those stereotypes ...
