Lets go down the moneysaving route, everyone move in with me.

We can all sleep in shifts using one bed, all space would be used. Heating would not be neccessary as bodyheat of that many people would suffice. :):)
Hi there! We’ve had to remove your signature. It was so good we removed it because we cannot think of one so good as you had and need to protect others from seeing such a great signature.

no i just made it up a mixture of Chickenly, Scout Hill and Dewsbury moor.

I live in none of these places, but an area of town that does have a bit of a bad rep to outsiders.

Just looking at areas and has anyone considered Barnsley?
Just did a search on rightmove on barnsley

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk

For some reason it seems you can get a hell of a lot more house for your money in Barnsley than in the rest of Yorkshire. Any reason why? (Beyond it being the only town in the uk where marring a reletive is not only accepted but encouraged)?

    Heya,

I reccomend Denby Dale (near Wakefield) too! I'm from there. It is about 10 mins drive to the M1, and York is about 45 mins drive from Denby Dale. It depends whether you want to live in a village or not but it's friendly, good amenities and stuff, Cornerstones estate agents are good for houses around this area.

I'm kinda surprised at how many people are talking about Denby Dale on here!!

  • Didn't read all 5 pages, but whats your budget? We have a house for sale in Ilkley, it's 3 bedroom, and been renovated with extension and not lived in since it was completed. It's quite cheap for the area. PM me if your intrested! Ilkley has great views(and Ilkley Moor!) and is right by the Dales, but also on the A65 so good access to Leeds and all the major roads from there. Linked to Leeds by Buses and Trains(every 30 minutes, and more often in the mornings).

Ilkley has everything you need, with a Woolworths, WH Smiths a Tesco, and many other stores. And its close to many other surrounding towns with many more shops and things!

And in winter you get views like these:
