I can't really see anything that could single the OP out in a lineup, no personal details have been given nor any company names.

Scare mongering would only add the to pressures already felt.

While there has been nothing which specifically identifies the protagonists or the employer, there have been many things which narrow down the respective fields very considerably.

I have very little doubt that the information given would have resonated very strongly with anyone from the workplace who was aware of any of the details.

Sorry, it is not scaremongering, it is sensible precautions on any kind of social media.
