children in communal changing rooms

Ermmm because I'm unhappy that the swimming pool I use has a rule that upto 8 year old of the opposite sex can be in the same communal room as me?:D:p I actually learnt to do it as a teen on a beach.;)
See my post above. Women shouldn't have to wriggle about like this in a women's changing room - on the beach is a different situation.:)0 -
Trust me it isn't. I can do it in minutes and I'm the least likely practical with hands person I know. It probably sounds harder trying to explain in writing than actually doing it. If the swimming pool insists that families use family changing rooms then it is up to them to manage that. It doesn't sound like it to me from what has been said so far.
The swimming pool don't insist on anything, but they have provided large private cubicles with showers, 1 for the disabled & half a dozen or so for families.
The first time I noticed her I complained to one of the other ladies in my class & she said yes she's often in here, I said it must be a different one because she gets there half hour early to get some extra swim time in, no she said, it's her, she spends ages chatting in there.
Another time they were all completely ready & dressed when I arrived & were still chatting when I had finished.
She just likes to gas to her mates in there.0 -

I look after an 8 & 10 year old and there's no way I would want them in a female changing room - and they would refuse to go in! They're perfectly capable of using the men's or sometimes they share a family cubicle. It was only this week they were singing a song and replacing various words with rude ones and one line was 'plastic boobs' lol they are very aware of their bodies!0

Emm yes. You don't remove your swimming costume before you've dried the area of your body that isn't covered by cossie. That leaves your wet bit as just the area covered by costume when you start with your boob tube towel. When you pull your costume down. You can rub inbetween your legs with the folds of towel before putting on pants. Your wet body is dried by the towel wrapped round you.It is easier with a skirt as I said earlier as any moisture from the costume coming off can be dried without exposing.
Well actually I remove my costume completely and dry myself before putting on any clothes and repeat that your method is unnecessarily complex for me.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Modern schools and attitudes have changed. I'm a secondary teacher and would not use communal changing facilities if there were pupils in there at the time. Would not be worth the risk. Sad fact is that these days it's not just some of your pupils seeing you naked, it's the photo that gets taken and put on Facebook and what follows.
Several colleagues and myself are even careful on school trips, to go in after the students and watch out for phones.

Hmm - put aside the kids for a moment.
What an odd woman who wants to chat for hours in a changing room. WEIRDO.... Who wouldnt get changed and then pop into the cafe bit and natter over a latte and a fruit shoot for the kids :idea:Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0
