mmm, the problem wasn't so much I'd forgotten the mushrooms were there, it was more that I just didn't get my act together to chop 'em up :rotfl:
Actually, purely as a matter of interest, and most surely not as an excuse, I did wonder if they were YS'd because they remained unsold because instead of having cut stalks as normal, the picker had literally wrenched them from the compost, so the stalk was complete.......complete with 3oz of mushroom compost.......:rotfl::rotfl:It did cross my mind that that might of added to the deterioration of them, but you're right Pippi, mushrooms do go over quickly.
I'm outta here to go adventurising around an allotment site. Laters.

:DThank-you (I think) for the lecture!:D
Fridge List is done & Freezer List in about to happen.
Contemplating storage cupboard list as well - but...
...the shelves are shallow & I can see everything that's on it - and they get used & replenished regularly so not really a huge problem...
...it's that dang freezer that scared me...
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Oh dear it wasnt' supposed to be a proper lecture more than a comedy lecture
Honestsorry if it offended!
I'm scared of the garage fridge and the storage basket on top of the shelves in the kitchen..
I hope your lists prove fruitful

Free compost with mushrooms :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:maybe it was a kind of offer? And, prob did ensure a swift demise. I have a cauliflower which is about to sulk heavily if I don't get my act together and actually cook it - so I'm as guilty as anyoneit waves from the front of the fridge every time I open and door and calls cooey.
Enjoy your adventures
I've got some cliffs to go and conquer with the doggles.
Although I'm struggling to get in the garage (to the freezer) as DS has put so much of his newly claimed 'furniture' in there that I can't actually see how to get in.
I fear this is taking decluttering too far.
Oh in much excitement it now looks like I have TWO trips south in TWO weeks.

Oh Pippi how funny - OH & I were in hysterics over it - he even mentioned that only women can lecture each other about impulse buys as men don't understand how that works!;););)
Not to worry - the "lecture" was taken in the loving spirit it was intended!
(we've got a few lists to be typed out now - dreaded freezer has been audited & devested of as much frost as possible without actually defrosting it)
OH is making his signature dish - a risotto & I've put a roast in the oven - every thing from the stores (and freezer) & there will even be leftovers for my lunch tomorrow!
We are both loving the enforced declutter that is happening at yours! Think of it this way - you will have a lot less to move down to Mr F's when you do combine households!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Well MY household us utterly rubbish tonight. But I'm very full
If yummy tea :-)
I must confess my sins .....
I bowed to peer pressure.
Whilst I had cauliflower cheese and baked tatties.
The bullies thought adding frog in the bog (toad in hole) to this would make it an ace tea.
Whilst we had ample eggs and milk/flour we didn't have sausages.
Whilst £4.50 for 10 sausages whilst they looked good, I nearly fell over.
Luckily (if this is indeed *lucky*) there was the same reduced to 3.38
Peer pressure interfered into my meal plan.
So I'm £3.38 down and half a cooked cauliflower up.
Blast those kids and their 'if we have Yorkies I can teach you sister' 'ok brother that sounds cool'
Mother (instead of putting foot down) goes mushy at siblings sharing and one leaving soon.
Ok at 338 for ten sausages is ALOT. However 33.8p each is ok if they are only used liberally.
If course I hid most of the sausages.
RT - thanks I was really worried I'd offended.
Xxx thanks for posting and fab on the lists :-)Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Loving this :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Pippi, you are *so* knowledgeable :j and I was already perfectly sure that no one was offended. Thrilled at the amount of info and thought, yes :kisses3:
Not surprised you went mushy at the childer (well, not really childer) bonding over Yorkies, awwww ...
Such a lot of travelling you've had to do, I'm not surprised you've earned a free flight! I could've done with some free flying over this weekend, but some of the rail fares I paid were **incedibly** bargainous - how about £7 for the two hour journey between Cardiff and Salisbury? Amazing.
I've never been able to upload photos onto mse, and I know it won't stay in my head, so when I've blogged, I'll put the linkie into my profile, and let you know - the whole thing was really special.
Not sure what you're doing today, hope there aren't too many shenanigans going on, and you're free to do some welliefest admin. Or work, sadly, yes - even the way you're doing it, there are *some* bills.
Will try to pop back later - got a cup of tea to make first:kisses3:
