Hi Pippi and the Stripey Gang :hello:
Hope that you have had a good day Pippi.
I was trying to think whether you had talked about making tomato jam before. I drew a blank, but if you think that the 'stethoscoped cellist' would permit experimentation with precious basil supplies, I saw THIS recipe and thought of you. The fact that she is talking about rhubarb in the same post is purely co-incidental....

Boo to working all weekend, but it'll take your mind off waiting for the young adults to arrive
I'm still clearing the path etcbut the delivery is scheduled for this weekend, so the waiting is nearly over. Hope the battle with WTFC goes well - pestiferous lot!
The WTFC battle did go well -
I said - I wonder if you can help I have a letter from your office you've said I haven't renewed my tax credits
Him - no that is correct you haven't renewed, but if you have your details I can do that for you now
I said - thank you, you also tell me I now owe you over £2k as I'm now not currently renewed and not entitled to anything at the moment so have to pay back this years forward payments.
Him - yes, if you have your details though I can renew you now.
I said - me thank you for being so helpful but can you check if my renewal is actually in the building please as I have a photocopy of it in my hand and will gladly read it to you.
Him - um yes we do seem to have received it we've just not processed it yet. So don't worry about the letter you've got we'll send you another one soon once we've processed it.
Me - thank you for your help.

Hey up thanks KC.
Times were before i'd have panicked and not phoned. Now I phone and ask no matter the consequences, its best to know.
Well lifes been a catching up on me where has the time gone.
I've just been informed its 2 months til 'welliefest' which is a tad scary.
Hopefully that's also two pay days, but in my job who knows.
I'm off to do a money update - fathom what's in the cupboards for becoming a parent again and update the welliefest budget.
I might be able to clear one cc today but as I've no clue about wtfc's I'm not sure whether that's wise or not.
Ponders.
Kettle on in a mo I think.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

So I need a bit of focus and some small things magic to get me through today.
I've checked the banks they're OK but not brilliant
I've checked the cc and paid £50 to one - can't do more until I hear about WTFC
One washing on - another washing hung up inside
Kitchen to clean
Bathroom to clean x 2
Bit of fridge inventory to do
Put away washing
Hoover some rooms - whilst I detest hoovers as much as lawn mowers, its needing done.
Do some welliefest wedding planning stuff its only 2 months now (!)
Update budget for it
Walk mutts locally
Hmm not sure what else - maybe try a meal plan!
Well that's a bit of focus and best get on with it eh??Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Oh my - 2 months it is indeed, on the button! In fact I think about now in 2 months time exciting things will be happening in posh frocks!
Well done for taking the Tax credits people by the scruff of the necks - fingers crossed the shake will have produced some good and the right answer will come back!
Greying your work looks ace - love love LOVE them! Clever lady! :T
I'm all beer-festivaled out - but we had a fabby week with much partying alongside the hard work. Think it all caught up with me at the staff party on saturday night as in spite of having no more than about 3 pints over the evening I was apparently quite entertainingly merry - to the extent that when the cinderella hour of 3am came along rather than getting stroppy with me like they do with most folk, the night security chappies just sort of ushered me out, grinning broadly! :rotfl: Great fun - by far the best one we've done I think, so all happy here, although quite astonishingly tired STILL in spite of 13 hours sleep Sunday night into yesterday morning....!
Am attempting to keep Pippi company with the 5 miles of walking a day but that's seeming like less of a good idea today - am now in an office 2 miles away from my car and wishing I wasn't!

*Yes they needed washed over the summer due to um, getting muddy, can't trust jeans to behave themselves can you. Not my fault really if I borrowed them...........
My walking is sporadic due to weather at the moment but when I can get out I do.
Hope the long walk to the car isn't too bad EH just think of the fact that you can melt into your pj's when home.

Don't overdo the housework Pippi, and have a good evening. I'd say '1 more sleep until they're back' but I suspect there'll be precious little sleep and mucho excitement and anticipation in Longstocking Towers the night
