Hi honey! "Toast and water" the woman said! I'm with Greying, you should be having a cuppa tea
protein too, please, rushing around at that rate
Our weather forecast was right for down here - its *throwing* it down. The bumper blackberry crop is actually making the headlines, and its really, really wet out there, I just don't fancy it quite yet. I will tho :beer:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Glad the younglings are all good - hope the travellings of the past few days have gone smoothly too!
Greying - it might be worth having a look at installing a free photo editing gizmo - have a look at http://www.techradar.com/news/software/applications/best-free-photo-editing-software-10-top-image-editors-you-should-try-1135489 - I have NO idea if they're any good but the person who's done the review seems to rate them!I use Blogpress to post blogs sometimes and that does exactly the same thing to photos - I absolutely hate it!

Hail Pippi and the Stripey Gang :hello:
Hope you are well Pippi
Karmacat - I totally forgot to post THIS link for you the other day, I saw it and immediately thought of you mentioning 'Strawberry & Rhubarb'. It may be of no use, you may not like jam or use a microwave. I've no idea if it works, it was just the flavourings that caught my attentionI found the site when looking for a recipe I had mentioned on my thread.
Essex Hebridean - bless you, you are so kind and helpful. Thank you. Some photos look a little bit better not 'squashed' quite so much, but frankly it is very hit and miss. I shall research further and if my photos improve dramatically, you'll know I've hit the jackpot! :rotfl:
Have a good evening all (oops, I've just looked what time it is - maybe 'rest of the' should be in that sentence).
Edit: I'm not sure how universal 'Channel 5' TV is in it's coverage these days, but I saw this and definitely thought of Pippi

Dusts off wings to put back in cupboard and takes of flight goggles.
I'm back
Hello how on earth are you all.
Sorry it went a bit on the crazy work side last week and then I had to head 'sooth' to a meeting/check out flats for the returning student.
Home late last night
You're all fine.
I'm not sure how I feel about CGI wombles.
But have an open mind.
As usual a trip down to civilisation has set me (some of it work expensed) back c£500 so I need to look hard at the family budget/freezers etc to step back and breathe.
AND DO MY WORK EXPENSES TOMORROW - SHOUTING AT MYSELF HERE.
I feel a meal plan coming on.
Today I was good got the reduced chick from the freezer scoured the cupboards and we have most of the ingredients for fajhitas
I thought we needed tomatoes
A trip to the polytunnel later - I am abundant in tomatoes, spinach, courgettes and beetroots.
Amazing what 1m squared and six fish boxes can produce

Tea was made by the young man in my life (DS) and he did a splendid job - excellent cooking and salsa making skills.
I'm needing to do a list

OK after a quick food audit
tuna tinned, tuna frozen - we have tuna.
rice - sushi, risotto, basmatic, long grain - we have rice
Pasta - mucho - the pastaqueen is returned spag, lasagne, tag, penne etc and peedie soup pasta - we have pasta
Nuts/seeds/grains - lots all of which we have
noodles - both types (rice and wheat) and noodle flour
lots stock including miso, French onion, chick, beef and veggie
Lots spices
tomatoes, tomato puree, passata (lots) and sun dried - tomatoes are us
sushi bits and accompaniments - well it always pays to be prepared
dried mash, frozen tatties and real tatties both dug up and to be dug
corn - I'm happy with the 'tattie' situation
various veggies picked and not yet picked - no scurvy due
lots flour (pasta, rice, plain, self raising and gluten free and bere) and several instant bread mixes
spring roll stuff, gnocchi and maize/polenta
enough cereal to sink a ship
a half full fridge of various dairy and cold cuts
one freezer shelf filled with fish/shellfish
one with meat including mince/pork/lamb/hams/sausages etc
one with bread/cakes/etc
And that's just the food I know about.
I think September can be an eat it all up month.
We might need fruit/milk and after the birthday cheeses are no more........
I think seriously this much food is a bit silly.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
