Yep, it's a pretty good state to be in Greying! And, errr.....I might just *possibly* be going to another one on Friday.... *whistles innocently* - but only a small one, and only for about a pint, as I'll be driving later in the day. After all it's not MY fault if Clacton kindly make their beer festival the same day as the airshow is it?!
Pippi - my Brother in Law had slate plant markers for place markers at their wedding - they looked superb with the names written on! As for the Younglings - what time do they land? bet you can't wait! And no, you definitely can't trust jeans to behave in any way, shape or form....and we won't say a word about such misbehaviour!

Good Evening Pippi and the Stripey Gang :hello:
EH - Clacton's festivities sound great - well done you for supporting themps, at the risk of hijacking Pippi's thread....when I post photos, I make them small enough so that it doesn't cause problems for anyone viewing the thread, but the photos all look out of focus (whereas the original is often pin sharp) any idea what I'm doing wrong? I use Ph**o Buck**t. Ta
Sorry Pippi
Pippi - I hope you are dancing around the kitchen in delight at the young adult's returnOn the wedding theme, I attended a wedding where mini pumpkins, and gourds were used as name/place indicators. Erm, I think 'Jack be little' and that sort of size. That was a very 'homemade' wedding, folks/rellies pitching in with their individual talents etc (someone had grown the pumpkins). Really relaxed, informal and a good 'do'
Looking forward to hearing that the YA's have arrived safely and all your other budgetary/weddingy/listy news

Pssstttt.....Greying.....YOU'RE not doing anything wrong - The Bucket of Photos uses truly horrible methods to reduce the size of your photos - think of someone trying to squash and squeeze you into a small basket or box 25% of your own size, and you'll get the gist. Check your 'puter to see if you have any sort of photo editing software on there (even the embedded windows one will work) and make the size change their first, then upload to PB. Then when you put it onto the forum you need to upload at actual size. For forum use around 5" on the longest side usually seems to be about right, but play about until you find something you're happy with!
Pippi HUGE Hurrahs for return of Younglings - hope they had a fab time but equally are thrilled to be home! :T:j🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi Pippi and the Stripey Gang :hello:
Oh EH, you have no idea how reassuring it is to know that it is not me that has done something wrong. I'm not a technophobe, but I'm not that technoable either and thought it must be me, although I was reducing the pics down to 320x240 for the forum as advised. I was a little worried that putting up fuzzy photo after fuzzy photo, folk would assume that I'd been nipping at the cooking sherry..... chance would be a fine thingI tried to load the software that came with the camera, but that seems to do everything but resize photos....... And the 'embedded' editor is so tightly tucked up, I can't find it???
Pippi - I'm sorry, I'm a hijacking your thread again, plus I blagging free consultation time with EH when she really should be billing me! Anyway, I came on to 'say' hope the Young Adults are returned and refreshed and happy to be home.
Have a good evening.
