Talked to the younglings today - with a few pauses (work related) but nice to talk to them between customers during my lunch break.
Productive meeting - I'm now leading on one of our main projects - LFHW (scary but I think I'm OK with it)
Expenses for July claimed £204 + petrol £77 (and the petrol will cover this months total petrol - hurray)
Off to walk mutts then catch up.

Morning All, good on you Pippi. Bartering is fab.
I've been very naughty. I've just bought my Mum a laptop (2nd hand) for £75.00. Not sure whether to put it away for Christmas or give it to her when it arrives. I'll put anti-virus etc on it when it arrives and see if I can pick up a cheap cover, mouse, external dvd drive for it. It comes with full O/S on it and I have a 2 license version of MS Office I can put on it for her for her work.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0 -

You my dear are a star. I'll make a suitable donation for the postage to a local charity as I'm assuming the GP trust won't accept any?

Hope you figure it out.:AThanks! I've literally never lived anywhere where I could pop to a supermarket "just in case" - this is only a Local, but it has normal supermarket prices, so I'm ecstatic :rotfl:
How cute is that (bartering)! Brilliant :j:j:j
Its good when you find a nice one which plays good with reductions.
And carrots for petticoats is ace.:T

So today
Hmm - well I worked double extra and I'm entitled to toil.
I moved around 5 tonnes of cardboard - paid exercise.
I got a pile of free fresh veggies from my plots at the learning factory (courgettes (yes more), carrots, beets, spinach, tomatoes and tatties)
My expenses were paid into the bank from work! YAY
Walked doglets at a beach full of holiday makers (OK for full read maybe 14 folks - but for here that's busy)
Popped by Mr T for vinegar (stripey - 99p for loads) for the beets and onions for pickling.
Had a long hot showernot free but so awesome after a day being a van-person and being at the commercial tip.
I had a mini meltdown yesterday regarding womble land (first job) which resulted in wine and a takeaway - which on a school night is not great. It was a treat and hit the spot - today I'm far happier. OH treated and listened quietly to a tirade and then retreated to his guitars for solace - he's a good sort.
Glitches we can cope with.
This time next week I'll be a parent again - how cool is that - seven weeks of no kids is a bit dull I mean who do you shout at and blame the mess on?
Thanks for popping by - always makes me smile.
I had more to say about wearing my feet out but I forget what on earth I was thinking about.
Didn't manage 5 miles yesterday - hoping to today already done 3
Must check the banks and see if anything in the form of wages is accessible in my account.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Hi Pippi, when you have a day like that if a takeaway is what is required then don't feel guilty.
