My Daughter gave me a card and a present when I was there last night to do some prep for collecting stuff tonight. Which is progress from being ignored on Fathers day.

I got emotional in turn at reading your reply
Feel free to write on here or pm me whenever you feel lonely as I know all too well for my liking how it is
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

    Happy birthday Jack :bdaycake:
Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.
  • Gosh I get all the animosity towards ex and wanting cash but for being a nice bloke you ain't half slating your kids in this regardless of how they are on the take. Maybe goaded by others on here but speaking of your Daughter "She will stay where the money is" I would hate for my dad to speak of me in such a way I would be most upset. Jobs are hard to come by these days and I would imagine your ex is their role model at the moment but please don't lost sight they are still your kids going through a break up and learning to adjust to other circumstances.

Maybe if you read the entire thread you'll see how reasonable the OP has been

    Role model? Some role model.
  • I have actually read the whole thread and think his ex is being rather unkind, I am commenting on the fact he is making comments regarding his children ie. "She will go where the money is", I think this rather unkind and is Daughter would be most hurt by this!
